I would appreciate pushing the thumbs up and subscribe button as I need 1,000 subscribers to apply to get money from these videos which will go towards my flight lessons and future flights. Thank you for your understanding.

This video is an instructional video on how to read a METAR weather report. These reports are crucial for a pilot to know but can be difficult to decipher for the beginning pilot. They provide wind strength, wind direction, altitude pressure, area weather, and temperature data needed for flight planning.

Great effort explaining this however you short changed anyone trying to understand the full METAR REPORT.

We will start with what you said about SN. This indicates snow is falling at a moderate intensity; a preceding plus or minus sign (+/-) indicates heavy or light precipitation. Without a +/- sign, moderate precipitation is assumed.

You could help people understand the difference between Broken, Overcast, or Obscured when reading a METAR.

You stopped at the RMK section and there is a lot more information to share.

01/M01 An M in front of the number indicates a negative Celsius temperature/dew point, the M stands for ("minus").

NEXT We can discuss AO2, this indicates that the station is automated with a precipitation discriminator (rain/snow) sensor. Stations that aren't equipped with a rain/snow sensor are designated AO1

Now we can P0001 indicates that 0.01inches of liquid-equivalent precipitation accumulated during the last hour.
T00061006 is a breakdown of the temperature and dew point in eight digits separated into two groups of four. The first four digits (0006) indicate the temperature. The first digit (0) designates above or below zero Celsius (0=above zero 1=below zero). The next three digits in the group "006" give the temperature in degrees and tenths of a degree Celsius, . The last four digits "1006" indicate the dew point, . Note: ASOS software, as of now, uses whole degrees in °F to compute the °C values in this group.
I find it awesome that you are trying to help people to understand how to read a METAR but you should finish what you started if you want to continue to help people the right way or you are just wasting your time and ours. I passes by this video to stay fresh on the information out there because a good pilot is always learning. I have also never heard anyone pronounce the word METAR like you do. I have always heard it pronounced more like TAR.

If you find that I am incorrect with anything I am mentioning please feel free to let me know.
