In this video, I’ll show you how to place acoustic foam panels without damaging your walls. I was thinking of ways to placing acoustic panels without hurting my walls like sticking them to some kind of hardboard and pit it to the wall, but then came to this cheap and easy solution after just using double-sided tape didn’t work.

Equipment I used:
- Acoustic Foam Panels
- Double sided tape
- Scissors
- Mounting glue
- Plumb rule
- Pencil
- Tape measure

There are several ways for acoustic treatment and improve your home music studio setup. I chose to use acoustic foam panels or wedges, because they’re very affordable and are really good at absorbing high and mid-range frequencies, possibly low frequencies, and solving echo problems. Besides that, I also think they look pretty cool. There are lots of different qualities in these wedges, and an important feature to look at is the thickness of the foam panels to soundproof your room.

Any questions? Leave them down in the comments and I'll try to answer them asap.

Overall idea is neat and I will definitely try it when my bass traps arrive. Though you put too much glue on a double sided tape. The excess will spread to a wall when you press it. So at the end there will be some glue to deal with if you will be removing these panels in future. It is worth exploring another way how to apply glue first, make it cure and then put that panel to a wall or try less glue
