Does anyone know if the DEEP COOL GAMMAXX GT A-RGB Cooler will work on a MSI b450 Motherboard ? I'm taalking about the RGB function. appreciate your help

So im still fairly new to computer assembly and i bought this cpu cooler and some more ram to replace my old parts and aftet assembly my pc wont turn on. Cant figure out where 1 of the wires goes and i think the vpu cooler may not even be compatible.

I have i5 8600k and the same cooler and I have 70-75 temperature in games, is it good ?

The cooler master did not look like it was properly pasted or mounted based on the thermal paste smear. The DC Gammaxx GT is a huge upgrade indeed, but it would have helped if the CM cooler had been put on properly!

2:53 I’m curious to see the stock cooler with a proper application of thermal paste. It looks like far too much, with not enough of the cooler contacting the cpu. Thanks for the video!

i had the same problem with the fan, after placing it with paste i realized i couldn't reach the screws on one side, i had to remove it and restart the process, great cooler for the price.

I have manged to get stable 4.8GHz @ 1.27 volts, no delid on my 8600K with this cooler. No thermal throttling in any stress tests. Its amazing for the value. Temps barely cross 70 degrees! :D I did reach 5GHz but yes it was unstable.

Theres not nearly enough thermal paste on the cpu when you take the cooler master off. I wonder what the temps would have been if it was properly installed in the first place!

can I overclock my i5 8600k to 5ghz on the deepcool gammax l240 v2? it's an aio, can it handle the temps the 8600k's overclocked temps?

You thermal throttled with that cooler I saw it hit 93C.
