Do you have a Zippo? Top 10 MUST have Zippos.

There have been over 600 million Zippos produced. Can we narrow it down to 10 Must have Zippos?
This video is my opinion several ideas collectors can have when building collections or just having in their collection. Now, like me I have my own themes I focus on but I do think there are some Zippos out there where you just need 1 of.
This is list is also attempting to keep "Must Have Zippos" affordable and obtainable. Collecting should be fun with any budget or interest. With intent, I left out the more seasoned collectibles such as Town and Country, Moon Landing, rare or expensive "Holy Grail" Zippos ect.

I reached out to about 25 collectors and surprisingly there was alot of consistency on what collectors should have in their collection. (Thank you to those friends)

A birthday zippo, what a cool idea! With the month code confirming your lighter was produced the same month and year as it's user; I seriously love that! I'm definitely adding it to my zippo radar. It will have to match my personality a bit as well!

What impresses me about Zippo is how simple and how durable it is. For this reason, it is enough to own one and enjoy its use over the years. Scratches and wear accumulate, while I change the flint and wicks, fill it with gasoline, and I'm happy. A Zippo for life that I love.

Good breakdown of most of the major types. Might I suggest maybe getting at least one vintage advertisement lighter from the 50's or 60's. They can be had for relatively cheap for well worn but still perfect good ones (Down to about $20 for good worn copies) and are often a little bit of a "Time capsule" if you can get one with some old school logo or design from years past. Vintage advert lighters represent about 80% of my collection and it can be an interesting challenge to research and dig up facts about a company or design from years past, even if they've been defunct for decades.

Well done! A good summary!! I have most of those you listed. I don't have the table top lighters. They never really appealed to me. And I don't have a Canadian zippo. I would like one though!. Great way to advertise yourself!! Thank you for making my list almost complete.

Just started collecting Zippo's. I'll have to get my hands on many more. I have a Jack Daniel's no. 7 from 1992 (I think), so that will be my holy grail for now. I really enjoyed your Video, great collection!

Great video. Definately some good advice for the new collector. I have one of each category you list except intead of a 1933 replica I have a 1932. One of my favorites in my collection is my Lady Bradford table lighter. Also like how you have your channel lighter as #10, just awesome. Glad I have one of those too😁✌

My gramps was a pipe smoker. He always smoked cherry flavor tobacco. After he passed i carried his zippo around with me everyday for years. I don't know if I still have that lighter but I still have his pipes.
I have found a few zippo lighters at the swap meet near me. Bought a table lighter for 5 dollars and another one for 2 dollars. I don't think the seller knew what he had.
