A couple years ago, I asked my SA to see the mini Kelly. I had broken my back and needed lighter weight bags to carry. When she brought it out, I laughed. It looked like something I would borrow from a child and utterly ridiculous on my frame. It was good to know since I had been given the opportunity to do a SO, and the mini Kelly was one of the options. I have seen people wearing the mini Kelly and looking great but the K25s are much more wearable for my frame and lifestyle.

Thanks for your advice Isabelle. I love mini bags as I am quite petite, but although the mini K is a cutie, it is small! It looks like a cute little toy. I like the k25 so much more and plan to have several, in the retourne style. If I want a going out bag I much prefer a beautiful Chanel evening bag or a Judith Leiber bag, or a Chanel WOC if it’s a non fancy evening bag. Ridiculously, It fits more.

I see at as something similar to chanel woc, it will be always handy (events, travelling, etc). It’s better to buy earlier than later as prices will only increase with time.

I had a beautiful Coach equivalent (Willis 17 in 1941 Saddle). It is well made but doesn't hold much of anything. So I ended up selling it. Thanks for sharing ☺️.

hahaha bust the myth! love it! I'm also one and done but definitely have other similar bags that are definitely more "user friendly". Great advice to do the classics first! I also really love all those alternative picks - that Maya bag looks interesting! They are more functional carefree and with all the crime going on I definitely feel safer carrying some more "below the line". I totally agree about the Longchamp....I need to go dig mine out...great in the rain and fits a tonne! I did consider the Savette at one point as an MK1 alternative but never pulled the trigger. By the way, looks like you lost all your pregnancy weight so fast, (maybe earlier than this video), but can't tell you had a baby at all! You look fantastic babe!

Great video :) I still prefer Chanel mini rectangular.. so much more user friendly. To go through multiple steps just to get into the bag is difficult with a baby (who likes to be carried) when I’m out on my own 😅

Thanks for the video! I would love a mini kelly but I have no spending history with Hermes, and I refuse to play the game to pre-spend enough to have the ability to be offered a bag. Also buying on the resale market and paying way over boutique cost is not an option for me either, so I will just have to admire the mini kelly from afar.

Hi Isabelle, I bought the Lalage Beaumont early this year, I have no complaint about the leather, it is durable and nice, however, the hardware was unluckily disappointing, it scratched and somehow tarnished although I hardly used the bag since I have big collection. 🤔

For me mini Kelly is a trend of mini bag. I love anything Kelly but decided not adding mini Kelly to my H collection since it's way too tiny and doesn't fit much for my life style.

agree with you babe - the mk2 is a one and done for me. but i likely will add more k25 to my collection :) it is so much more classic, functional and versatile! i'm sure the next version of the iphone pro will outsize the mk2 and render that bag even more useless haha
