Do you think the iPhone 13 Pro Models are worth getting over the Normal iPhone 14 and the NEW iPhone 14 Max/Plus?

I'm using the iPhone 12, and my carrier subscription (2 year plan) is usually during the period in the iPhone launches. I usually upgrade around October/November period when the hype dies down.
My plan for iPhones is when I upgrade, I pass down my old iPhone to one parent. Two years later, the cycle continue to the other parent, and cycle continues on. So this year, when I upgrade to this year's new iPhone, my mom gets my iPhone 12.

I currently have the iPhone 8 and im so excited for the new iPhone 14 pro max model. The new pill shaped notch design and the 48 megapixel camera are the two biggest upgrades that im waiting for. I was originally planning on getting the iPhone 13 pro max because I start college in a month but honestly waiting another month or two cant be that bad.

I just upgraded from the XR to the 13 mini for a really good price, and I love it. Getting updates for the next 4 years definitely is a good feeling as well. 😉

I’ve had the 4, 5s, 6s, 8 plus, XR and now the 13 pro max and I have never loved any of those phones as much as I do with the 13 pro max. As long as the battery life stays good I’m sticking with this phone for a few upgrades.

Dear Matt I was earlier planning to buy IPhone 14 but Chip in regular IPhone 14 & IPhone 14 Max which is A15. The same chip is in IPhone 13. But as per your video there is no major difference between iPhone 12 & 13. I am planning to buy IPhone 12 or 13 this year. Very nice video Matt.

Im using an iPhone 12, and I upgrade my iPhone e every 2 years from my carrier, because it’s a 2 year plan, and they give out a voucher (not a large amount but it’s still a voucher) for a new handset. I’m very intrigued by the cameras of the 14 pros, but I’ll need to see how much differences and price point will justify its features.

I think those were good reasons to hold off getting the iPhone 13 right now. Getting the 13 Pro/Pro Max once the iPhone 14 comes put because the price drops is a really good idea! Especially since the design and chipset itself is exactly the same but you have a better camera.
I definitely think getting the iPhone 13 Pro models over the standard iPhone 14s is a great idea.
I'm getting the iPhone 14 Pro Max though once that comes out so I'll be skipping that deal lol

Hey Matt thanks for the comparison of the iPhone 13 and upcoming 14. That was some great advice. I recently upgraded my iPhone 6 to iPhone 11 and I completely agree that it is more beneficial when you space out purchasing an iPhone as the upgraded features are better appreciated and worth the spend that way. I have a 7 year old MacBook Air which I plan on upgrading to a MacBook Pro this year. I just love the ecosystem I get with having my devices synced. Thanks again and great video as always!

Good timing for this video. My 11pro has degraded to 80% battery life and the sheer increase in efficiency that a 13Pro has is very tempting but I am waiting until the 14 comes out to make a decision on a 14 or getting a reduced 13pro. If it wasn't for the battery, I wouldn't be thinking of upgrading at all but mine doesn't last a full day of commuting into London for work anymore.

I think the iPhone 13 Pro models are not worth getting over the new iPhone 14 Max because the 13 has a notch, not a full screen, and the size of the cameras. The 14 Max doesn't have a notch, has a bigger full screen, with little bigger and better cameras. Nice video with the comparison of the models.

In 2022, I plan on upgrading my mothers phone from an old Samsung to a new iPhone 13 once the price drops. Winning a free MacBook would honestly be amazing for this upcoming school year. Love watching your videos, keep up with the great work

I have had an iPhone 6S+ since 2016 and your thoughts on instead getting the 13 when pricing comes down after the intro of the 14 is interesting. I've also had a 2013 MacBook Pro and would like to upgrade it. Both have been great for specific reasons: The 6S+ for the headphone jack and the MacBook Pro for the "built-in" CD/DVD player. It's time to upgrade one or the other and I do not know which one to do yet.
