I realise I am a bit of an idiot but hopefully this will show how easy it is to get up and running in 10 minutes or less with the DigiSpark. I put some steps in there to help people get started and I have pointed out some pitfalls that are probably quite common.

Big thank you. Messed around the whole morning, thinking it was a driver problem. But it turns out it was the programmer and the pluging in after compiling...

I was totally missing the point of pluging the board when uploading the code.

Thank you David.

Does anybody have any experience with programming the digispark with an Android device? With for example the Arduinodroid app for Android? I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks...

Can this be used with a button sensor? I am currently using an arduino and would like to switch to the attiny85 - all the code does is open and close a claw when the button is pushed.

I see that you are connecting Digispark directly to USB. My question is does digispark has onboard USB to serial converter like FTDI? If not, how does it works? Second question - How can I program this module using Atmel Studio? (which programmer to use and bootloader required?)

The instructions to install the software and drivers is not good anymore. It seems like there are problems with Arduino higher than 1.6.5R2. I had to roll back to 1.6.5 to make it work.
