will the OP-Z get these NEW FEATURES ?

Having used the OP-Z for such a long time, one can't help but imagine what else is possible. These are some of the features that I think could be implemented on the teenage engineering OP-Z.

00:00 INTRO
00:20 1. Resampling
02:40 2. Loop-Crossfade
04:55 3. Sample Management
10:35 4. Synth Engine Editor
13:25 5. Microtonic Drum Synth

Totally agree about the drum synthesiser, I think it's an even bigger omission as the sampler is quite awkward to use. Hopefully some of the sampler changes will come with the line module.

I like the loop-crossfade idea. I also like how on 1010music blackbox the sample has start and end points for the sound and start and end points for the loop, so you can start the sample then loop it in a small segment. Works well with organs and strings.

Excellent video, these are all great suggestions and it seems they are not things that will be difficult to implement. I love the idea of taking full advantage of tonic drum synth engine.

A manual that has proper grammar - capital letters at the start of sentences would be nice for a start.

You forgot threshold sampling. Or in sync sampling. So you can sample perfect loops

Extra pages for patterns instead of decreasing the step resolution for the buttons. Also, a module that would connect two op-zs together (ie you would attach 2 OP-Z to one module, and operate the resulting device as one)

Do you think that resampling is possible with the line module?

How long have you got your OP-Z? Did your experience bending or triggering?

With the Circuit, Novation just kept adding new capabilities with each firmware, adding to the value and usefulness of the box. Am I alone in feeling that with the OP-Z, TE are still struggling to catch the firmware up to the expectations buyers get from the price tag? The PO-33 sample slot editing is a perfect example of things the OP-Z should have been able to do from its very launch.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater. I'll keep using mine regardless. It just leaves a bit of a bad taste, for example, to read in the manual that the OP-Z has a "fully capable" sampler, when it's pretty clear that actually no, it sort of really doesn't. TE are doing a lot of things right, but I feel sometimes they seem more preoccupied with cultivating their clever and quirky swedishness, than with delivering the actual engineering.

Sample management would make this thing a killer with that storage. I couldn’t believe they didn’t do this from day one. The visuals are way less useful to most people. Drum synth would be great as well.

My #1 would be more projects. 10 is too few.
