I have a 2018 ML3 Pro Traditional. $800 USD brand new, and it plays like butter. The reverse headstock makes the tension on the high strings such that 10s feel like 9s (stainless frets pitch in there, too). The only small gripe is a bit of neck dive, probably due to the carved, lightweight body.

I own one of the ML1 pro moderns, and it sounds amazing. I have had a set of Bare Knuckle Ragnoraks fitted to it.

Leo Fender started of course Fender guitars so for me having the name Chapman on the headstock is not off putting for at all. What matter is how well they are made and I own three Chapmans and they are all excellent build guitars! I will be happy to buy more from them.

Great review, once USA Duncans started finding their way into imports the industry landscape changed, and for the better...the Nazgul/Sentient set is another great combo...

Nice one! I bought the ML1 as my first electric and dont really have a bad word to say about it. One I would really love is the baritone, so if you could do an independent review on one, I would greatly appreciate it thanks mate.

Another great review :) Also you should definitely consider releasing some extended mixes of your ambient music as it's excellent

The standard range were built by Cor Tek Guitars (Cort) in Indonesia, the original line and later pro range were built by World Musical Instrument Co. Ltd, (WMI) Korea. Two massive names in guitar manufacture.
Chapman has recently stopped these lines and as of 2024 production has moved to India. This is a bold move! Workshop models are still being made in England.

Amazing review James!!!! This is a great guitar ( a great set of pickups) with really great body and neck metarials. Some aesthetics I know, but really has a great balance between price and quality and looks really great 😉

I dont have an issue with Rob Chapman, i think things can get highly exaggerated with social media these days, maybe bad business decisions led to people turning on him, not sure, at the end of the day a good guitar is a good guitar. I just bought the ML1 standard and I literally can't fault it. The only weird thing I find about it is the headstock but that's being knit picking. I just dont like how it's parallel to the fretboard instead of the angelled back headstock, its purely astetic and doesnt affect the way it plays. Anyway I'm super happy with it, payed about $780 aud which is about 450 pounds.

I've got a ML1 Pro Hybrid with roughly the same finish, and I love it, it's one of my main "go to" guitars. I've also got the ML3 Modern - also with the Sentient and Pegasus... The latter is a prototype, so I don't play it as much...

How does this guitar weigh? Heavy? Lighter side? Looking for a thinner style Tele and stumbled on these just curious if it's heavy like a Fender or ESP T-style?

I have an ML3 Pro Modern Dark Cherry Satin from 2017 or ‘18. Very well built, the fretwork is amazing. What is the controversy about Chapman? I must have missed that

I own a Chapman ML3 Traditional. It's a fantastic guitar. That's why I'm looking at this video.
After seeing this video and hearing the guitar. I just went to Zzounds and bought my second Chapman.
You can deprive yourself over some woke controversy.
I own two fantastic guitars.

Love my Chapmans... If Rob blows the brand name, you can always refinish the headstock.. Lol!!

Sick review mate. Also, reverse headstocks are for the elite race...

I'll be avoiding this brand due to the controversy alone.... because the controversy is written in bold on the headstock. No offense to any fans. It's a matter of personal preference. That being said, the guitar defo pinches well above its weight for the price. From a purely guitar perspective, ignoring the brand, it's a solid axe. Yes, I've played this.

Had the same disliking bout teles … and I got the same taste change bout them xD I kinda love the looks, for what ever reason that happened 🤷‍♂️ never played one tho. But I’m really fighting myself standing between a Blue Solar A 1.6 with Floyd and The Paleblood baritone Signature of Rabea Massaad. Both surely would have their uses in my music. But I need to pick one of them first since I’m a poor guy 🤣🤣🤣

I really like this guitar, and Rob Chapman seems a decent chap, but the association with Anderton's puts me off
