I got diagnosed with ADHD yesterday at 34 years old. Thank you for helping me feel like I’m not insane❤❤❤

I was always told I was the perfect customer service person, and I always replied with "Thanks. That's my social anxiety. I feel like I'm dying inside."

My favorite part of my ADHD is actually the hobby rotation. I'm intensly crafty and learn new ones fairly easily, and several (yarn ones especially) have shared materials. I also don't have a Hobby Graveyard, it's more a Hobby Waiting Room. I don't purge supplies because I know at least once a year I'll circle around to each craft. Right now it's knitting and crocheting, I feel the sewing itch starting to set in, and I feel resin stepping on the heels of sewing... and I can pick any up at any time and get fresh dopamine without investing in all new supplies!

My least favorite is losing stuff. I got a Tile for my keys after making myself late looking for them one too many times. I use our Amazon Echo to call my phone all the time, and if I move my wallet out of my purse I'm liable to have a panic (I really need to get a Tile for it!)

I'm 67 this year and have a life filled with being the same way, I've been misdiagnosed by professionals, put on every pills they known, and tried every angle to try find out what was wrong with me and watching your videos have finally shown me why my life has been so filled with pain and chaos, thank you for your videos!!! ❤

as an autistic person I LOVE people that overshare, means I do not have to talk as much

You are literally the only reason my husband understands anything about me after 11 years of confusion and frustration. Fortunately, he's patient and loving, but we wasted a decade trying to understand each other. Thank you for being so open. ❤️

I continually lose my phone in a 600sq ft apartment. being able to use a web browser to set off the ringer has been a game changer XD

You are viewing it wrong. Its not a hobby graveyard. Its hobby stasis. They are just waiting for us to pick up interest in them again in 5 or 10 years.

I started filling up my cart and then going through it all to decide if I really needed the things or not. Then, deciding I don't need any of it. I still get the dopamine hit from filling up my cart, but none of the guilt from buying things I don't need. It doesn't work every time, though. I still overspend.

Got 3.5 out of those 4 ! Instead of hobbies I have topics of interest and learn as much as I can until it’s not as exciting anymore and then run to the next thing. I know where my W/K/Ph are but paper work it’s gotta be around here some where. 🤷🏻‍♀️
