Something you could’ve mentioned is the addition of an extra 2 cores in the base M4 chip starting it at 10 cores, compared to its precursors M2 and M3 starting at 8 cores. Additionally apple claims (and has been tested) that M4 now has the most efficient and powerful single core performance in the world.

This is Actually a dub! First we got the AirPods 4 being consistent and having pro features with it, but being reasonably priced. Then we got this, this seems really nice, when you think about it with the price, and still being a significant improvement.

Unpopular opinion: it's actually cheaper than before. It's basics of economics that money lose value through time because of inflation, so if the price tag is just the same - it's actually cheaper - because production costs, transport etc due to inflation rises.
