As electric vehicles become more accepted, enthusiasts looking to get into the space without the numb one trick pony nature of fast EV's can now rejoice because #Hyundai has created the ultimate electric hot hatch with this 2025 #Ioniq5N. The #HyundaiIoniq5N brings the heat to the segment with up to 641 HP from its dual electric motors and its also the first EV that does a very convincing impression of a gas powered sports car, complete with gear changes and pop and crackles from its fake exhaust system. It will truly blow your mind and make you question your perception of quick EV's.

Hyundai Motor Group has been killing it. Love my 21 Sonata N Line and went for an oil change got just got a 24 Ioniq5 Love them both. Test drove a black Ioniq5 N I’m in love. Hopefully 🤞 upgrade to the 26 or 27 model. But at time I hope Hyundai give it more range by then. Sofyan as always keep up awesome work

The batteries in this car are the most expensive on the market right now and contain batteries that are built with the latest technology that is technically advanced.
As a result, they are offered incredibly cheaply in terms of price-to-performance, and as a result, the track is made easy to turn.
Even with regen braking, the system is equipped with technologies that can take in 0.6g resistance, charge the receiving power instantaneously, and with that power, reduce battery heat. No manufacturer has ever reached this level of technology. So the price of this car is incredibly affordable. These are the areas that car YouTubers are missing because they don't understand

This is way, way cooler than a model 3

I love the exterior design, it reminds me of a vw golf but bigger and more futuristic

The first EV I've actually desired

Hyundai’s e-platform is top-notch so far. Mercedes-Benz has agreed to use their platform for future models, except for the EQ series.

Excellent review and video. The Ionic 5 N is an electric vehicle MONSTER. That Pokémon shirt is perfect with the car 🔥🔥🔥

At least, German EVs haven't been able to show us this fun at least until now
Anyway, Ioniq6 N would be ultimate game changer though 5 N is game changer enough

Sofyan I'm sorry to say you're incorrect about this being slower than the new model 3 performance, carwow did a drag race and the hyundai actually wins

Kudos to the Hyundai N team for making this thing. The sound is likely the reason to take this over the top, future customer here. 🙏🏽

This is probably the coolest looking EV in that blue. I know its not the fastest but that exterior and interior is boss. Plus, experience matters more than bonkers speed you can only use 1% of the time. Think this has more soul than alnost every EV out there

I don't understand why you're constantly comparing the I5N's 0-60 to the M3P's 0-60. One's a sedan that weighs 4054lbs, while the other is a hot hatch/SUV that weighs 4861lbs. Of course, the M3P will be faster! lol
A fairer comparison would be between the updated MYP whenever that is released and the I5N.

All the Hyundai Kia junk haters are punching air right now because they’re scrambling to find something wrong when they clearly can’t

it does offer a panoramic sunroof, but obviously not in the USA - in Germany we can get it with panorama, shades and heated rear seats (ventilated front seats are option). But why you would order the panoramic sunroof? Hyundai made 42 additional welded points for making the car more stable - and you would buy a panoramic sunroof then? no, you just dont do that in a car like this. Plus: Bierman retired this year. This was his last, but fantastic baby. I personaly think that the Ioniq5n is the absolute best EV you can buy now. Not the EQS AMG, not the Taycan either, Hyundai rocks. And this comes from a Mercedes V12 owner.

as a former GTI driver that would love to play with the paddles... this thing rules. but it's 66k... not sure if it gets the tax credit, probably does.... i just bought a 2024 model 3 dual motor, 4.2 to sixty feels fast af... 3.06 in this is nutty... and the model 3 performance is the one i wanted, even faster... but again, expensive... after instant lease credit you're into model 3 dual motor for $42, 500, high finance charge yes, but easy buying experience.

maybe one day we'll get to the point where shifting on EVs (dual clutch experience) becomes reality because transition tech advances to be as instant as EV power delivery today and multiply torque (engineers does my math math here?), provide more experience people are used to, etc. I'm for some kind of sound or visual just for hooning. Also, more EVs need to just have full TC OFF. That feels like all my model 3 dual motor needs to be a drift machine (in the rain at the very least).

I like manual seats: lighter, faster to adjust, and one less thing to break.

Motortrend got the Ioniq N 2.8sec to 60 1/4 11sec at 125mph

This is a great video. If I had my own column this would even make it in a car of the month feature.
And I would choose it over a model free performance

If this car was under $60K and came with a pano roof in the states, I would have considered it instead of the 24 M3P I bought. Cabin is too dark without it. M3P may be "boring" but is a shockingly good daily driver enthusiast vehicle.
