Hyundai’s N sub-brand is known for delivering motorsport-derived hi-po versions of their everyday models, much like BMW’s M division. Their latest, and first EV offering, is the IONIQ5 N, and we’re still cooling down from our trial run at California’s iconic Laguna Seca race circuit. #Hyundai #IONIQ5N #HyundaiIoniq5

The best way to get feedback on motor RPM is through sound. It registers quicker than looking down at a tachometer. There’s no gear-shifting in the mechanical sense, but they are gear-shifting the regen up to 0.6G of regenerative braking (just like downshifting), using the paddle shifters to phase up or down the regen and torque. It’s incredible.

Don't talk about this before you drive this car yourself. I've changed my mind after I've driven this car. This car is a game changer. This is as powerful as Ferrari, wiser than Tesla, and more economical than Toyota

Looks awesome and has great performance. But PLEASE stop saying 350 kW charging speeds. Like the other E-GMP vehicles, it charges at under 250 kW. It just needs a 350 kW charger to get those speeds (obviously a 150 kw or 200 kw charger won't hit it ). That's why Hyundai/Kia say charging times on a 350 kW charger.

Just picked on up in Soultronic orange. This is a great transition EV if you came from an enthusiast ICE vehicle.

reading the comments is fun. Obviously many cant afford or have even shopped for a new ICE car lately let alone a BEV. $67000 isnt all that expensive considering whats out there. Hyundai and Kia are decent (they still have issues they need to work on both on their ICE/BEVs) but I still think theyre better than Nissan/Renault and many domestic brands. I have a friend who Kia bought back his SECOND EV6 GT and now has a Hummer (oy vey). Cam problems on Ice cars and lack of owner maintenance... but Mercedes and BMW and Audi fare no better... its sad that so many new cars are crap. Ill stick with my 70-90s cars.... lol. at least theyre cheap to repair.. Now the G80 Electricfied.... Nice car.. for those of us who still like sedans and wagons.. 2024 V60 T8 Polestar excuse me V60 Recharge is what Im looking at to replace my 2020 T8 S60 Polestar PHEV... until battery tech gets better at least

When a product needs to "mimic" its predecessors, is it fair to claim it's evolving??
