My New Fire Ant Queen | The Start of a New Era (Day 1)

I've caught a new fire ant queen, and I've got some mixed feelings about it. Fire ants are easily the most difficult ant species I've ever kept in all my years of ant keeping. They're aggressive, they sting, the queen fire ants lay eggs like crazy, leading to explosions in colony population, they eat everything in their path, and they're always trying to escape the ant farms I create for them.

Nonetheless, things haven't been the same on this channel without fire ants to challenge me. This is why, I'm happy to introduce our newest ant colony to the channel - a fire ant queen that I caught during a nuptial flight and that I am hoping is fertilized. I have had many great memories keeping fire ants in the past, so I have high hopes for this queen fire ant and her future fire ant colony. Hope you enjoy this week's fire ant episode! Because the majority want the colony to be "The Sun Warriors" then I think you should name her after a sun goddess like Saulė because she is the goddess of the sun and she is the goddess of life, fertility, warmth and health (perfect for an ant queen).

I just binged the entire Phoenix Empire playlist, and while its sad to know they've gone to a new home, it's neat to actually watch a new colony grow again. I'll admit, I used to watch you some years back, when the Fire Nation was still around, so its really cool that I've found you once again after all these years!
