Tired of being shushed. They are contemptuous and therefore condescending. Can't be bothered with your individual identity, and it threatens them anyway, so they just either shush you, insult you, act like you are stupid for even speaking, when really you probably make a lot of sense and that totally threatens them. They have to invalidate you to make themselves feel better and maintain their illusion that they are on top and in control.
