To solve a disk error occurred while attempting to write the following file adobe premiere pro, first delete the file on the timeline in your sequence, you can also delete it from your imported files. Then on Mac computers, go to Adobe Premiere Pro while on Windows go to Edit. Then on both computers, click preferences, then media. There is Media Cache Files directory location and Media Cache Database. So to fix the issue just click on this button “CLEAN”, so let Premiere Pro cleans the error for you, once it’s done click OK.

For those of you that DON'T want to delete the audio from the timeline because it's a voice over and you've already spent hours perfectly aligning it, this solution can also work with a slight tweak. Instead of deleting the audio files you can simply offline the problematic file(s). Once you do that, follow the steps in the video. I'm on a mac and I didn't get the option to clean next to where it says Browse. I had to close the project and then an option appeared under the Delete Unused Media Cache. This causes Premiere Pro to restart and effectively deletes the entire media cache. After the restart I was able to replace the footage without issue. All the best!

IF THIS DIDN"T WORK FOR YOU, then the problem may be that your cache files storage location does not have enough space, so you would either have to create space or change the Media cache location to one with enough space. {like a couple gigabytes).
