Can do this with a drill and a wooden jig to hold the cd. Instead of buffing wheel you spin the disc with drill and lightly use a piece of 3000 grit, then you use polish on a microfiber to polish it and it’s good 👍
Need drill and custom jig tho, so this might be easier bench grinders can be cheap

I’ve cleaned scratched discs this method before myself. :) can get great results. But have to be careful though. I’ve damaged some of you go to fast or put too much pressure the heat can damage and melt the plastic. Also if the Buffing wheel hits the edge of the disc it’ll just yank it out of your hand in pieces. Lol both have happened to me

Why not put the disc back in its case straight after you have played it.Also if you handle them by the edge's.Iam certain they would not get this badly scratched.

get a drill and a wood drill bit jam the drill bit into the end of cork, put toothpaste or car polish on the disc and give it a spin slowly work your way around the disc center first, usually tàkes a couple minutes wash and dry the disc carefully, only do this to disc that absolutely don't work, they might work again

No it’s doesn’t scratched wii games can still sometimes be read from the title screen but when you boot them it won’t work

Problem is: if you polish too much time, temperature can raise a lot due to friction, which can damage the data layer, so do it sparingly to avoid melting the cavities.
