Something to consider with the Fire Veil Wand is that it doesn't aggro most mobs that don't immediately attack you like enderman slayer minibosses or well any enderman enemy in the game.

It is great for killing Fanatics since they just burn to death.

aurora staff can be used even early game 😊 i felt strong after buying one for 1.2 million. You can damage 40k! which instantly kills zealots and other mobs inside dragon nest.

I remember when bonzo staff was 2mil. And when booster cookies were 1-2mil. And the cheapest hyperion was over 1bil.

For mage, there is also the blue whale pet and the turtle. They're both good for defense, which mage lacks in at lower levels (this is mainly talking about dungeons). The turtle isn't as good as a blue whale, but it's still a good defense pet.

Yeah I was a mage for a while but I quit whenever I realized the progression tree was so steep literally going scepter to hype. Now I’m mining until I can afford a hype and get back into dungeons

i think the aurora staff before bonzo's staff is worth it infact its the first weapon i buy it costs about 1.3mil does about 40-60k damage and has a 1 second cooldown with 10 mana cost and a decent range

Don’t forget that when going from dreadlord to bonzostaff you can go for the aotd which makes a very good all around sword

Really nice guide, however unless they have changed the cata req for dungeonised dragon armor, it s an insane jump from wise dragon to necromancer lord

With mage progression I play tons on dungeons and mine during Cole to make money but honestly it’s best to just progress through get wise and frozen scythe get some talismans and try to get a sheep pet eventually get a spirit sceptre star everything buy a wither pet to survive f7 to access storm gear and just grind and instead of investing 300m on a Midas that is pretty inconvenient for clears and can’t even hit either bosses at f7 invest on talismans and increase you mp and with a buff with Midas sword a while ago it would be nice for an early lcm weapon

aurora staff and voodoo dolls are kinda destroying crimson isle when properly used considering their low price

then there's fire fury, which is actually useful when barn fishing or killing targets that don't move much

Side note: Nitroze didn't talk much about mage skills so I'd like to just throw this out here. If you are trying to get the most out of your damage as a mage, the best was is to simply get your enchanting level to max. It is a huge boost in damage. Alchemy is also a decent skill to level since it gives in intelligence but it isnt something to go for if your looking for a big damage/ stat boost.

For ironman players, a yeti sword is a good budget version of the midas spoon since getting a midas spoon on ironman isn't easy at all on ironman. But in between spoon and sceptre, those are the two best options for mage in that progression gap

edrag isnt really useful for mage as sheep does basically the same amount of damage, only case where its useful for mage is for voidglooms

also everyone peer pressure nitroze to put perfect gems on his aurora

another good weapon is aurora staff, even better with aurora armour but armour requires cmbt 22
