Thanks for including us in the list! It’s an honor to be mentioned among all of these brands as a relative newcomer (at least in the watch brand game).

As an MR01 owner, I don’t agree that Baltic feel like a luxurious brand. Weight, chinese movement, generic crown, simple very polished bezel, plastic crystal.. yes some of those things I knew I was getting when I paid for it but it does not feel like a substantial watch. More cost-saving measures than value there.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

I have two Tuseno's, great quality. One newer microbrand that I have been very happy with is Henry Archer from Denmark.

I think Nodus, Traska, Brew, Studio Underdog, Maen, Yema and Farer brand really doing great in micro segment

YES on Jack Mason. My new Strat-O-Timer is easily my favorite, most satisfying timepiece in my collection (which includes more than few rather famous luxury watches at 5-to-10 times the price. This Strat-O-Timer blows me away!) Just *so detailed and so much fun to wear every day.

What's with the date starting to switch on the Jack Mason at 10:10?
Microbrands used to be under $500....now under $2000..
Huh?

I have owned a formex essence 43 for about a year now and it's remained on my wrist about 90% of that time. Truly a great piece, especially so considering the money. Great video!

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

A lot of micro bands seem to be switching to La Joux-Perret’s G100 movement but I haven’t seen many reviewers discuss the incredibly loud rotor noise. I collect mostly mid-tier Seikos and I was really surprised at how loud my Airain was compared to my other watches. I’m happy to trade a quieter watch for better accuracy, a higher beat rate and a greater power reserve but just thought I would mention it since I know it’s a deal breaker for some.

I am impressed with the quality of my Lorier Hyperion SIII. Lorier are a New York microbrand that offer high quality vintage inspired pieces at affordable prices.

Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!MAMACOO watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.

Interesting vid. I've got a few premium watches (Omega Seamaster, Breitling SOH, Longines HydoConquest and CW 60 Pro 300 Bronze (not sure this fits premium brand yet - but not a micro brand anymore either)), but am now looking at these lesser known brands as I think they are more creative in their design. Just purchased a WISE Shades of Thailand (hasn't arrived yet) which to me proves you don't need to spend 1000's to get a good looking watch - has brand reliability as well. Will be looking out for more of these from now on :)

Christopher Ward is not a micro brand. Since 2019, they've been controlled Private Equity investment firm BGF.

I think Farer should be included in your part 2 list. I have a couple of their models and the quality is up there with the rest of them

Watches are great. I have 2 CW watches which have been great. My favorite watch is the next one

Love Monta and Christopher Ward...Formex for me is like a more expensive Zelos so it was neat to see them both on your list.
