What's your biggest home gym Hurdle you face in your garage or home gym?

I have this bench it is fantastic. Excellent convergence and contraction during the exercise. A couple things to note. It fits shorter people like me better. Also, you need to put blue Loctite on the main pivot bolt and that will cure the bolt from backing out. They do not tell you this but take it from me it works perfectly and never have to adjust again. Also if you have the bench near a wall you can simply fold arms up to the wall then the bench and save a ton of room. If the bench is out in the open you may need to add some kind of arm holder a poll behind arms to attached them and hold them out of way to frame etc to act as a fold away for arms but the arms can fold back too for more space. And another thing you can do to incrase bench angle and get off floor more for incline is get three inch lifters under all 4 legs "what I did" and you are more of floor and a slight better incline angle. it is some extra things to do but they work and are cheap and it saves tons of space. Also 100 lbs feels like 100 lbs not 50 to 80! The weight plates are parallel wit the handles for pushing giving you the real weight fell not a deflated weight value like if the weights were loaded farther back behind the pushing handle like many machines do. I doubt many could push 200 lbs on the arm as I AM 5 FT 5 180 15 percent bodyfat 17 and half inch arms strong as bull and It feels HEAVY to me! Lastly, doing rows can be done but you did them incorrect. First drop the holder of the arm down more and face sideways like to your left kneel on bench and grab bar handle so it is vertical and row with right arm up, as you come up it will come up and slightly back and in with the trajectory of the arm which is perfect for rows and proper back stretch actually. Switch for the opposite side row. Try it and thank me later.

I always appreciate the humor and honesty of the budget reviews.

Another banger of a review.
I think it is not a bad addition for under $300. I would save the space/$ and get some more bumbells or weights

I was looking at this because i wanted a safe way to bench in my garage alone. However, i found a powertec multipress on FB for 500 and that thing is a banger. For incline bench and OHP, it is fantastic. It also accepts attachments so i bought the compact leg press attachment. It takes up some space, but considering those are core movements, it was worth it.

And you can actually do rows with it, if you add angles 90 grips.

Always going to be checking in to these honest reviews! Not sure if you have already honest reviewed yourself out of a relationship with them, but would love for you to get your hands on a Ritfit leg extension machine and give it an honest go. The only thing I have seen from these lower end guys that has caught my attention.

I just bought one on Amazon because it's currently listed at $199, I only wanted it because of the huge angle the converging arms travel during the ROM. For the price I paid new, I feel ill get my moneys worth even if I only use it for flat chest press.

Machines are awesome but this particular one is pretty massive for what it does. Which machine is best for most home gym users considering price, space, and functionality?

I got offered one of these. I had to turn it down. I am too big for it. I think they told me it had like a 285 pound weight capacity. I’m like you realize I’ve bench or my bodyweight is more than that right!?

I really want to try a powertec workbench. Like this but incline, I think shoulder, and flat….

Saw this and it looks nice but doesn't have enough exercises to take up that space. The Powertec multipress similar but far more exercises. I ultimately and just ordered the Quantum Trainer which has a few dozen Hammer Strength type workouts. There just aren't any lever arms that can do it all plus a pain due to weight and so many other factors. Funny video by the way LOVE it!

When you did rows, it looks like you didn’t have the arm supports at the lowest position, thereby reducing your range of motion.

I would have liked for you to show the various exercises the machine was capable of. I ok with awkward variations for 200-300 dollars

Arms look good doing the “row” though! 💪
