Florida is being destroyed by a hurricane! Ocala suffers the onslaught of the elements!

Strong winds and heavy rain due to the tornado hit Ocala with all its might. Eyewitnesses say: “Honestly, it was a huge surprise, shortly before it happened, I thought to myself: “Hmm, this reminds me of hurricane gusts,” and then boom. During a hurricane, I was driving, when suddenly some object flew into my windshield, I thought that it would pierce it. Part of the billboard shattered my side window, dented and punched through my truck,” Sierra said. In some areas, tree branches, pieces of ripped roofs and debris are scattered right across the lawns. An unsightly picture is also on Highway 200. Eyewitnesses of this event filmed a video just driving along the highway immediately after the disaster hit. It can be seen that several cars were seriously damaged. There is no word on anyone needing help. The National Weather Service says the tornado was a high-end EF1 with winds between 86 and 110 mph.
It is said that its width was estimated at 200 yards, and the distance from Dunnellon to Ocala was about 25 miles.
Rescue crews are still working on the damage sites and are continuing to document the damage before a final report is released.
There are no reports of casualties, but there is extensive damage to homes, businesses and urban infrastructure. There is also a large number of damage to power lines and communication lines.
Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency in Marion County during the disaster relief period, and also announced the allocation of funds to help residents receive assistance for recovery, and also attracted additional forces from neighboring counties.
The hurricane knocked down trees, smashed cars and damaged houses and buildings, cut wires, and blew roofs away.
“There was a lot of debris in the windows – scary,” said a homeowner in Ocala.
Neverman and his family will spend the week picking up the pieces. His wife is forced to buy a new car after part of a tree fell on her car, which was parked outside the house.
“The tree fell on the roof and shattered the rear glass, side glass, top glass and front glass,” Neverman said.
Less than a mile from his area, strong winds tore apart a 39-year-old veterinary hospital that was of architectural value. Now it has to be fully restored.
The American Red Cross is on call 24/7 at the Marion County Sheriff's Office. The team will be there to provide assistance or advice to those affected by severe weather. It is worth noting that the past storm is unlikely to be the last blow of the elements to Florida. A cold front is moving in. It will affect the southwestern regions of the state to a greater extent and bring cooler temperatures.
