One hundred percent spot on Dr.Z ! Was 238 18 month's ago and holding @ 168 for a year now at 5'9 53 years old and feel like a damn teenager thanks to all the great information from this guy ! Yo guy's it is doable and forget all that garbage you've read in all the magazines and BS Bro - science people at the gym ! 👍 Step up now or be miserable it's your choice ! Was it easy ? I find dry fasting much easier than water fasting. Very little sensation of hunger with dry fasting.

STRESS STRESS STRESS!! This has always disorganized my fasting program. I end up eating whatever comes my way hence adding pounds in just a very short time.

Thanks Nick - my top tips be consistent with your eating window, do it daily and if you enjoy some cream in your coffee you can add it. A little cinnamon or ginger is nice 👍 I do enjoy a few treats during the eating window and then it’s back to fasting

It's taken a few months to get things dialed in for what works for me. I have acv water when I wake up and mid afternoon a pint each 32oz bottle cold Pellecrino late evening and 2one pints of water or lemon water during the day has helped a lot for my 3 hour ratting window

Iam on day 8 of 14 - pure water fast. What makes it really easier is not watching food or even talking about it. When I see some recipes - my empty stomach is wobbling and shout on me :D

The way I see it is this - if you have trouble intermittent fasting, anything from 16 to 36 hours, if you feel like you're starving, then the problem is NOT with the fasting, it is with something during your eating window. If you are new to low-carb and/or fasting then you may still not be fat-adapted. Get fat-adapted and most of problems during IF will go away. If you ARE fat-adapted (you don't have to be keto) and you still get hungry during daily IF, then you simply aren't eating enough calories from red meat and/or saturated fat during your feeding window.

Look. All of this is helpful but ultimately: if you want to do this, you will. There are virtually no short cuts. Put up with it till you get used to it, like most things in life.

Would I be able to still take my wheatgrass powder on fasting days? Or does that break the fast? I usually mix it with my apple cider.

Yes, that waking up at 3:00 a.m. alot .
Feel like I have slept 10 hrs.
I m OMAD...no cravings just the sleep thing .
