I enjoy writing on the Supernote with _'The Heart of Metal'_ pen but I purchased a Lamy AL-Star recently because of the delete button, however, using the Lamy on my Supernote _feels_ like I'm skating on hard glass. I almost exclusively use my Supernote for making notes and reviewing my writing, anything over that and I need all of the power and functionality of Scrivener on a Macbook... how people used to write great novels with a quill and parchment baffles me, they truly earned the title of _"Writers"._

I write longhand, then transcribe. (Novel, short stories, etc.) One of these days I will try one of these devices. I check in every six months or so to see what is going on in this space. Thanks for this.

I like the idea of the Boox Tab Ultra having a keyboard built in. You can work longhand and then massage the text via keyboard on the same device? That's promising.

You are literally killing me. You answer the question that I had perfectly except I don’t know what devices you’re showing me. Can you please point to the device say what it is? That would certainly help me

I love your videos and the Superboy seems great but it's very expensive. I haven't seen you talk about the mobiscribe in any of your videos. They just came out with a new one and I'm curious if you have an opinion on it?

But can you handwrite segments, and then export them to a word doc or email (with text) so they can do the actual editing on a regular computer? Does anyone know?

Sorry, can you make a video about how to crop/trim margins in PDFs so that they're in the best form (big font without text slipping through)?
I cropped a few PDFs via Foxit PDF editor, but when I send the to my Kindle Scribe via "send to kindle", it has white margins again.

Do any e-ink tablers support LaTexin terms of writing/editng? I suppose those running Android could...

(On the Kindle Scribe, LaTex papers display in very faint PDF form. Not sure why.)

I doubt any of the eink devices would be helpful for real writers. Most writing in the real world has two stages - the first step when you're researching and developing ideas so you're going through lots of drafts and written material. It's really hard to replace the simplicity of having your paper drafts and other printed materials on your table side by side and comparing. It would be impossible or very expensive to do a digital version of this. Not to mention it can never be quite as distraction free as simple pen and paper. The second stage where you're writing the manuscript you really need a word processor to make sure your writing is formatted correctly and free of spelling errors.
