I died laughing when the driveshaft fell out as soon as you got on the rollback 🤣

It was cool how Matt gave a plug for Rory's recovery rope when he sells the same product.

Jamie was the star in this video for sure..she just rolls with the punches. Watching her try to turn into that almost roll all while laughing her butt off was awesome.

I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous but. I was recently involved in trying to diagnose a crank no start on an XJ. We replaced both crank and cam sensors. Used fancy pants computer stuff trying to get it to start with no luck. The driver noticed that when it wouldn’t start the temp gauge wasn’t powering up. Long story short temp sender was changed and it has now been running for a few weeks with no issues. Good luck on your trouble shooting!

“Send it Matthew” great quote from Jaime. Also, I would have liked to see Colt try to drive the Peck Bro.’s Minnie wrecker. Great video as always. Thank you 😊

Hey Matt, i had a similar "no start" issue with my son's 2000 XJ. Everything pointed to the camshaft sensor, so i replaced it... and it didn't fix it. I ended up finding the wires leading to the sensor had the coating falling off, so the copper was exposed and the 3 wires were touching each other. I repaired the wires and it solved the problem.

Love your videos!

“Gly”: Hey Matt! My Jeep (Old Bob) has the exact same engine from Golen Engine Service that your Banana has. Three years ago when mine suddenly died on the trail it turned out to be a defective CPS (Crankshaft Position Sensor). The one I had in Old Bob was an aftermarket sensor from Amazon but once I installed a MOPAR sensor the problem was gone. Hope this helps.. love the show!

Unbelievable! The Banana is the last vehicle I ever thought would just die! I've had problems with small wires slowly breaking from either strain of flexing - something that vehicle sees a lot of. I hope you find the problem soon!

Besides from obvious sensor failure, when this happens to me it is usually the loss of ground to one or another main component...
If a component uses a bolt hole with ground tab, inspect it for electrolysis build up/corrosion. This is a real problem for some vehicles.
FYI
I sometime have had to add / splice a ground connection to a ground wire in the wire harness because nothing else worked, Also some wires work with a low voltage Paulse rather than constant power, these wires are delicate and should not be ignored during inspection, any little damage is huge to these wires, any small imperfection should be closely examined and tested/ replaced.
For some people these problems are easy to diagnose because they will test things in a specific pattern, List's are available from ASE training manual's and probably available on the web? .. LOVE THE SHOW !!!

OK Matt! Here’s a two-fer for you, Get the banana fixed and get a driver for the off-road games all at the same time. Get a hold of Eric from the YouTube channel. “ South Main Auto”. flying him out have him repair the banana and do a video on how he diagnosis it. He’s amazing. Love watching your channel Duane.

Jamie saved that rollover like she does it everyday. one of the reasons I love MOOR is the subtle training you give to everyone Matt. Matt You empower individuals, even those you haven't met. you deserve the praise you get. thank you.

That roll cage jeep needs grab rails ON THE INSIDE of the vehicle to hold onto. Watching people grab onto the roll bar for stability is scary! The one thing I love watching on MORR is that people have vehicles for fun and don't worry about breaking them...all my vehicles I need to use to get back and forth to work...so I can't afford to break them on the trail!

Hi Matt, I have truly enjoyed your videos for years. But this one really got me. You literally made me laugh out-loud when you said . . . " a Porsche, which is basically a Corvair." Then you took Jamie for a ride in the GT3-RS and watched as it put that Porsche smile on your face. Priceless! I am a Porsche owner and not an off roader but really enjoy you and your team's trials and tribulations. Thanks . . . wish you all the best.

This video has it all. It had all of my other faves on YT: Rory, Pecks, and Colt. Rory did a recovery, broke the MORR Turd, Katelyn crawling, and Jamie being a boss saying "send it" while later almost dying on the recovery of the Turd 😂 😅😅

That was a Fun video... between Matts huge Perma-grin driving Rory's Supercharged wrecker & almost bouncing outta the Budget Jeep and limping it up the rollback just as the driveshaft falls out...lol... I think everyone has alotta fun with the Cheap Truck Challenges... those should be ongoing even when the off road games arent going.. sometimes its just fun to have a junker to beat on!

Been a mechanic for 30 yrs, specializing in electrical troubleshooting. When I have an issue like that, I have a box that I completely eliminate the vehicle out of the equation. It''ll have its on tps for throttle and all that. Esp if it was a vehicle I owned, I would make a box that had its own ecm and power supply. You only need like 4 sensors to run most engines(cam and crank sensor, distributor connector, fuel pump connector, etc). Put a started button on the starter and see if it'll start. If it doesn't than you know it's fuel or spark, but those direct components and nothing electrical. It eliminates all the harnesses and basically every on the vehicle but the engine or the actual fuel pump. You have so many of those Jeeps it just makes sense to make one. Probably take a couple of hours or less to wire it up, and less to hook it to any one vehicle. Also idk if those older cars have the chips in the keys, if they do then you just need an ecm that has been unlocked. You could use it on pretty much any Jeep that has that same engine, the vin wouldn't matter. You're not worried about if timing or anything is perfect, only if it starts.
Where I worked for 25 yrs, the factory sent them to us as a required tool. We had like 5 diff kinds for like 30 yrs of diff types of engines.
