FILM DESCRIPTION:
In Hollywood, actor James Franco is throwing a party with a slew of celebrity pals. Among those in attendance are his buddies Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson. Suddenly, an apocalypse of biblical proportions erupts, causing untold carnage among Tinseltown's elite and trapping Franco's party in his home. As the world they knew disintegrates outside, cabin fever and dwindling supplies threaten to tear the six friends apart.

I like to think they were sitting around writing, get to the ending, and one of them asks, “Who’s the most random cameo we can have to end this?” And Rogen just goes, “I really want to dance with Backstreet Boys” and that’s it.

Watched this in the theatre when it came out. The viewers reaction was epic. Everyone in the theatre were singing along some were even dancing. The jubilation continued even after the scene. It was surreal, one of my best experience in a movie or maybe i was lucky to had gone to the movies with the right Crowd.

Backstreet Boys were unironically one of the best things of late '90s. People bashed on them solely for being a "boy band" but their music defined the time, and I would attend their concert in heaven. :)

Love the cameo with Seth Rogen’s dog. Almost gives me goosebumps with the amount of joy this scene brings. It’s like an ending that people think of, but would never actually do.
