I always love the “Who Hurt You” “Nobody” moment. Because you can hear the pain and fear and sadness in the little “don’t go” at the end.

The ending with Polyphemus grinning is so sick! He's like "Oooh? Then My FaThEr WiLl HeAr AbOuT tHiS" Amazing work as always!!

I love how this animatic shows how the immense grief of losing his best friend affected him verry much, and probably impaired his decision making, im pretty sure in epic canon no man of his died in the war, and this kinda puts into perspective the importance of this event, the first time someone close to him suffered the consequences of his decisions, and it was his best friend.

Honestly Athena’s wisdom should have been more along the lines of “stay anonymous because if you say your real name that Cyclops will tell on you to his father Poseidon, the god of the Sea which you need to get home to your family and kingdom”

God, the "Who Hurts You" sequence. The heroes struggled this much with one cyclops, and they see not only that there's more like it, but *a lot* more. Legitimately terrifying

the smile of the cyclops at the end literally sent chills through my spine, making me wish to dig my grave so Posieden wouldn't find me...

I love that the visual tones change matches the moment when Odysseus realize that his friend, the ever optimistic one with rose-colored lenses is gone, that grief is blinding him and caused the lapes in judgment with revealing his true name. With his friends, he had the tactical advantage and was calculating, with the loss his couldn't think straight and your animation really makes this shines through

3:12 the irony in this part. he's telling the cyclops to remember them so that the one who died by the cyclops' hand won't die in vain. but in the end, Odysseus telling his name to the cyclops made their sacrifice null as it brought a bigger foe.

The expressions, the visuals, taking the headband, the grin at the end when Odysseus makes the mistake and reveals his name... you really are doing the epic musical more than justice with your amazing works for it

The song always held such power in it and you captured it perfectly

Everyone focuses on Athena saying "Don't, " but ignores the fact that her presence made the situation worse. Odysseus was leaving. He was done. And he was right, too. There were more cyclops. And they couldn't beat one. If they had turned to finish him off, they would have died.
Athena showing up and telling him to finish it was almost insulting. It felt like she cared less about the men that would die and more about the glory of her Warrior winning.

Every time I feel stupid, I listen to this song and tell myself that at least I didn’t give out my address, social security number, credit card, IP address, and wifi password to a cyclops.

the cyclops at the end smiling like "i'm gonna end this man's whole carreer" was so on point😭😭

The way Athena appeared and then in order to prove her wrong Odysseus ended up giving his name... heartbreaking. I love Athena's design, like a middle ground between inhuman and ethereal.

Zeus: kill this innocent baby
Odysseus: YEET
Athena, goddess of WISDOM: kill this enemy you’ve severely injured because he’s still dangerous
Odysseus: No. In fact I’m going to give him my home address.
Athena: *forehead slap*

Absolutely beautiful wolfy, Odysseus’s grief and determination is palpable and heart wrenching. Thank you for sharing more Epic content with us!

The best part of "Who hurts you" sequence for me is not the fact that there is a who-knows-how-many-more cyclops, but rather the fact then they are MUCH bigger then Polyphemus. Like, one of them has his only EYE almost as big as Polyphemus whole head.

_"What good would killing do when mercy is a skill more of this world could learn to use."_

I love that line so much 💗
