30 - 60 - 90 Triangles: GRE / GMAT Geometry

Everyone's favourite! 30:60:90 triangles are understood properly by very few students, I can almost guarantee you will learn something from this video if you are studying for the GRE or GMAT (or other exam this topic comes up in) and watch to the end. Triangle ratios come up occasionally in these tests but you can give yourself a big edge by understanding them!

The GRE and GMAT are two of most used graduate exams for those seeking to study a Masters Degree or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree. The Graduate Record Exam and Graduate Management Admissions Test have been taken for over 50 years and are taken by approximately 600,000 and 300,000 people worldwide annually, respectively. These exams are typically taken between the ages of 18-40, by those who have completed, or are about to complete, their Bachelors Degree.

Hi Philip
I'm really not one to comment on social media but you really deserve a shoutout! My GMAT is in under 10 days and I haven't been able to dedicate the time to study as much as I hoped with a very hectic job! I was panicking about how far behind I am but your videos give me a reassuring sense of calmness and confidence. Thanks much!

Great tip : Just because it looks like a right triangle, doesn't mean it is!! Fallen for it many times. Gotta peruse the question and be vigilant. Your videos, as always, are edifying and repleted with cornucopia of virtuosity.

Sir, your videos are so much helpful for my GRE preparation. I have been loved with the ways you explain the concepts and examples. You are an awesome tutor I have ever seen. Can you please make video on 45-45-90 degree triangle? Hope you will upload more videos on GRE. Love from Bangladesh.

Hey Phillip, I came across a similar question as the last one in one of the practice tests and instead of giving us an angle, it was given that CB is equal to the radius of the circle, I got that question wrong as I didnt know what to do. Thanks for your trick.
