Your sides are not labeled correctly. Across from 90 degrees is 2x. You mixed up the 90 degree and 60 degree.

Tomorrow is my quiz and I was trying to get help from the videos after I watched this video, I was confident that I get it but then I keep getting my answers wrong. I looked back at the video and my work sheet and I realized that in this video she messed up the sides. She did not label it correctly. If I had not looked back at it I would get an F on the test but thank god I real8zed it before the test. Please remove this video and correct your mistake because it can also confuse other people.

The biggest angle, which is 90°, is across the biggest side (the Hypotenuse) and you get that biggest side out of one of these: x, x√3, 2x, which is the 2x (biggest it yields the greatest value, when a value is plugged in for the variable); therefore, across the 90° the side's length should be 2(x).

OMG, almost gave me an aneurysm lol. I was like WAIT, I’m remembering this wrong???

Largest angle will correspond to largest side (longest side)

‘My whole life has been a lieeee!!!?’ Thank God comments confirmed what’s going on

To clarify things the 60° and 90° angles in this video is switched. So 90 = (times 2) (60 = square root of 3) and (30 = divide)

WARNING! THE INFORMATION IN THIS VIDEO IS INCORRECT! DO NOT USE FOR INSTRUCTION!

The greatest side is always the Hypotenuse, so 2x is supposed to be across from the 90 degree angle. Aside from that I thought the explanation was ordered and made sense.

After being confident that I got it, I read the comments, now Ill be cautious when following tutorials.

Thank you for creating these instructional videos. Unfortunately, you reversed the Long Leg and the Hypotenuse, otherwise, it would have been correct. We all make mistakes. It is ok. You should take this video down though and think about refilming as it will only confuse students as they try to grapple with this. As you can see in the comments, frustrated math students who are seeking help, are having trust issues with online videos when the math is presented incorrectly. Thank you for willingness to help tutor others.

She is not going to remove it folks, this video is one of two that is generating her more revenue than the rest of her other videos combined.
She may think "Who cares if it's correct or not, money is king".

In this example your hypotenuse would NOT be your longest side because it would be multiplied by the square root of 3 which is greater than 1 but less than 2. Your 2x side would be the longest side making this an impossible triangle.

Good thing I hesitated when you introduced the sides
