As someone who just did a 33 orb ending and an 11 orb ending, this video is spot on, minus a couple things. Firstly, I highly recommend putting Omega among that list of best ones. Additionally, IIRC, the alchemist dropping wand refresh is a bug and was patched in the beta version. The intended way to get it is via defeating the master of masters, which unlocks it for future runs.

While Alpha, Gamma, and Tau are the classics, Omega and Mu are also great.

Omega makes your wand ridiculously strong late game in general, since it allows you to stack spells to an insane degree.

Mu is really good if you are into wand programming, you can add overpowered modifiers after a wand refresh so that they won’t use mana when you cast but will still be applied to projectiles, allowing for wands that are ridiculously strong.

0:40 I have over a thousand hours in this game, how have I not heard of this?! I've exploited so many specific mechanics, but this one in particular escaped me. There's always something new to learn.
