Apparently not that many people knew about the statue tech so on top of the replies I already did, Imma leave it here for future peeps:

In this game physics objects in motion do a ton of damage, especially that statue (I think it has to do with weight idk) so kicking the statue into something insta kills most things.

When you damage the temple in the exit area behind the perks, the gods get pissed a lot faster. I think this is to prevent pissing them of bx wand testing in the shop area

This did not work for me :( Statue evaporated, did not block his shot, and the shot splattered me all over the floor

Tip: just use the statue on the right sight.
Place the statue on its side, then do pretty much the same thing. Removing those stupid magic lanterns also may help with consistency.

I’ve kicked a statue into Steve in two different runs and it didn’t kill him. I really do hate this game sometimes.
