Honestly this video is an excellent showcase to the other side of the World Trade Center that people have slowly begun to forget about with the passing of time. They were engineering marvels and icons of a bygone era. They had a subtle but lovely look to them and did what they were built for. They were offices, tourist attractions, a meeting point for many, a place for business and leisure and more. So many passionate people worked there and loved what they did and those towers. That is the other side of the WTC. Never forget the tragic way they ended and the lives lost that horrible day, but also never let the memory of what they were be forgotten either.

My Mother died in 1999. After she died we found photos that she had taken on a trip before the towers fell. We didn't find the pictures until after the towers had fallen. She took them looking straight up from the bottom of the towers. It was a gift she left us. I never got to see the towers myself..

I always loved the old movies from before 2001, because the towers were there casually. It don't look forced and not green screen animated. When I spotted them in old movies my heart jumps in joy. Such icons they are still in my heart. ❤️

The twin towers were one of the most remarkable buildings I've ever seen. Seeing this and listening to the great music takes me back to the time when I really wanted them to be rebuilt.

I'm a Brit and was born in 2003 so obviously I never got to see the towers, but for some reason I've always had an interest in them. I really wish I could have had the chance to see them in person. I've been to New York and I've visited the 9/11 museum, it was very interesting albeit sad too.

In 1998, I had the amazing chance to check out the World Trade Center. I ate at Windows Of The World, then checked out the view from the observation deck and the Top of the World. I'll never forget that moment; I was so at peace while I sat at the plaza, ate a sandwich and heard the music from the monument. An experience of a lifetime, so sad that it's no longer around.

Vaporwave/WTC is the way. I’m literally obsessed with them. And I wish I got a chance to have my breath taken away seeing them in person. They live on through our community and God Bless all that had to experience that day in Lower Manhattan. Everyone. Love & peace.

This is so amazing. I never had the privilege to go there because I wasn't born at that time.

Vaporwave was the perfect choice for this and Luxury Elite too? Exquisite taste.

I feel like WTC nostalgia is very specific, especially for those of us who watched this unfold on the news in real time. I was 13 when this happened so I remember it vividly... in a lot of ways it felt like this was the moment things went terribly and irrevocably wrong. The ensuing decades of war swallowed so many people in my generation. Fondly is the only way I want to remember the towers. No one will forget the trauma, but maybe we can find something new to feel the same way about, and recognize it while we have it. Cheers

I'm Russian and I was born in 2000. Why does this video make me feel so emotional? I experience a mixture of feelings, including nostalgia for things I have never seen, and sadness. The Freedom Tower doesn't have the same impact on me as the Twin Towers did...

Man, I teared up. This was beautiful. Those towers were a work of art!

Wow. I've never seen the original WTC's in this light before. Standing side by side, they were BEHEMOTHS that dominated the southern tip of Manhattan. And the little art deco touches in the architecture. A time capsule from an earlier New York. With all due respect to the architects of the new construction, it lacks the soul that these gems had.

Brilliant music choice. Really enjoyed this.

Edit - Wikipedia calls their architecture style New Formalism. Don't know if theres any influences of art deco or not.

Those towers had some true magic around them. I am obessed with them since im a little child. And i know i am not the only one, under every video of them, people seem to feel some really strong connection to them. I wish i could have seen them in person.
