With the new WTC buildings, it seems like they’re going for more complex and abstract designs for them. However, the original buildings still manage to be more recognisable.

I really wish they'd built two Freedom Towers (One World Trade) in the same staggered diagonal fashion the twin towers had once stood in instead of just building the one. They would have had to build the new pair to the east of the reflective pools instead of north, but there was technically room for it, and they would have looked absolutely incredible together.

I could very well have my directions mixed up, but I feel pretty sure in saying "east instead of north" is correct.
