I have came to this place before and I instantly felt a sad wholesome feeling after remembering the 9/11 attack and starting feeling bad for all the families out their that had to deal with a lot of sorrow after their loved family member/ members died. 😭😭

I was and am so grateful to be able to see this memorial in person last april. What a horrific day. I was not born when this happened but even to imagine this ever happening is terrifying. RIP to the 3000 people who passed away, and RIP to the brave young men and women who sacrificed their life to save the lives of others. My heart and prayers go out to anyone who has lost a family member or friend 22 years ago this September 11.

Rest in peace, I am from England, and fun fact, I just went there! On the 4th day of being there, we went to see the 9/11 memorial, which got me crying my eyes out and making me gasp from the cool, interesting views and how the first plane had just hit. I honestly fucking hate the hijackers. They can burn in hell for all I care.

Scary fact: The hijackers of flight 93 were probably gonna hit golden gate. My mom was warned not to go to work and she didn’t. But also bravely the passengers of flight 93 stopped the hijackers from inflicting more damage that day. Only the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were struck. 2 at the Twin towers, 1 at the pentagon and one crashed in Pennsylvania but was supposed to head to California on the golden gate. R.I.P All flights hijacked on 9/11. May they rest in peace. 🗼🗼(It was the only towers I can find.) 🏢(supposed to be the pentagon) and ✈️93. 😢

I hate the way downtown looks now. It just isn’t the same anymore. The magic feelin is gone. Those buildings not only weee iconic but brought so many people down in that area. Around holidays it was fantastic. You felt it in the air. Iconic. The skyline everything about pre 9/11. Late 80s to early 90s it was such a great time in that area. Look up pictures of the trade center around Christmas. If you were fortunate to be around that area that time of year you know what I mean. And you know why it’s not the same anymore.
