In my opinion, the final elite that shows up at the end of H2's Gravemind mission was the best Elite to spawn. This elite in particular spawns with white armor decorated with honor guard shoulder and leg armor. I may be wrong, but it think it's name is dubbed Lights of Sanghelios or Honor Guard Ultra?

Half Jaw Rtas also says to Arbiter in H2 that the high counselors were all slain iirc by the brutes

If he crouched and puts his head to the ground he can become cover for grunts!

The Arbiter also mentions in the cutscene opening the last mission that the counselors were all “Murdered. By the Brutes.” You don’t see any because they’re all dead.

The fact that when I see these guys I think first of them as allies rather than enemies really goes to tell how good the Arbiter side of the campaign really was, AI allies felt equally competent to when you play as the Chief (I do have to say, there's a certain mission where hunters do feel a litte underwhelming)

I love how you can see the inspiration for the route Elites in Halo Reach would take with their designs. They're very similar the Ultra.

Reach's Ultra elites always reminded me of these guys. These and the honor guards blew my mind as a kid, they definitely scared me too. It's like Bionicle, switch up the parts and colors a bit and I was completely hooked.

Their design is one of my all time favorite designs of anything in the franchise, I always wanted to see councilors return, even if just as Swords of Sangheilios.

The final elite at the end of grave mind once was glitched with the face of Rtas Vadum. It freaked me out thinking I just killed one of my favorite elite's.
