5:16 Let me introduce you to my favorite Halo Mexican meme

What he's saying is: El Pozole

Pozole is a Mexican dish that was invented at the pre-Columbian mesoamérica (now México), by the Aztecs (mexicas) and the meat they used then, was human meat from their enemies

The meme is, Elites love Pozole so much they berserk to death when they spot the master chief

It's usual to see elites welding a plate with Pozole in it in these memes

Like, how long would an elite survive if he doesn't get to eat his lovable Pozole? We don't now, for sure, but not so long...

5:01 - It's worthy to note that the Elite jumpscare in Pillar of Autumn only occurs on the easy and normal difficulties. Seems like Bungie very intentionally wanted to troll younger players.

H5 arbiter has different skin than the rest and looks almost exactly like a H3 one which I've seen very few notice

For me nothing beats the classic CE and H2 wort wort worts

Personally I love the halo CE and reach elites.. which is weird because they’re both so much different from each other.

I can’t decide which ones I prefer, on one hand that slender design with the metallic shiny armour is iconic but I absolutely love the versatility of the reach armours.
Everything from the rangers being used for Eva combat to the intimidating presence of an elite ultra with a concussion rifle was super memorable, even the iconic bob ranger elites that showed up and disappeared if they weren’t killed quick enough were interesting even if it was just a colour change with stronger shields.

I like to think the arbiters use of medics stemmed from what he witnessed in crows nest

i love how in the intro he mentions how you may have named the elites in the days of xb360. it reminded me that back in the day i was playing on an old composite, fat tv, not a flat screen, using composite analog cables rather than HDMI cable and the resolution was so terrible that when you run into the gold zealot elite w/ the energy sword on The Lost Cartographer, when you enter the structure and have to exit the warthog, the resolution was so terrible that when it plays the message "IT'S QUIET...." a buddy watching me play misread it as saying "IT'S ERIC..." therefore resulting in 15 years of that one specific elite being named "Eric". 29 years old today, and since this mis-read at 14 years old, i've never been able to (or wanted to) correct this in my mind 🥲. Everytime i play that mission and run into good ol' Eric, it's like meeting an old friend lagain. For 2 seconds. Before he's smacked in the back with an AR and killed instantly, not knowing what hit him.

Halo 2/A, reach and infinite elites, just love their armour variants, honour guards, councillors, field marshal, zealots, generals, honor guard ultra councillors, best designs ever

I will give 343 this, the Infinite elites are by far the best model sense the original trilogy. Shame in 2024 I still cant play as one >_>

Fun Fact: Halo 4 Elites actually scream out "Akuma!" as one of their combat dialogue. Akuma being a japanese word meaning Demon.

Halo 2 is the best halo without question. The cliffhanger ending looking back isn’t bad cause halo 3 picked up where H2 left off.

And now a TV show to keep fans mad about the state of Halo is what should have been said at 0:08

You forgot to mention that from halo 3 onward they lost the glowing bulbs

The TV Show entertained the entire internet. Not in a good way

Why the heck does 343 not add playable elites. I mean, people really want it, and they would probably make more money with playable elites.

This needs to be 41 minutes and 28 seconds of elite sound effects

343: “We wanted infinite to be a Spartan story… so there won’t be playable elites.”
Also 343: *glances nervously at Halo Reach*

I had no idea the zealots in Halo CE were just the lowpoly model! I did notice they were spikier but hard to appreciate the detail when getting skewered by an energy sword.

Aside from the weird faces, I think the most eye-catchingly "off" thing about the Reclaimer Saga elites was the decision to make them sleeveless. Even with the abnormal bulk, it always felt like the arm armor was a glaringly missing piece, so it was great to see it return in Infinite. Hope that if/when Arbiter gets the spotlight again they can return it to something more like H2A.

On Halo 3's Arbiter armour, that's actually just how tarnished silver really shines. It is more of a gold/bronze when the sun hits it, than what you'd expect of silver.

24:20 A correction: Jul never believed what he spoke. He was pulling a Palpatine and was actually pulling some strings on Halsey (he's the one who's talking to her on Infinity) in addition to riling up a Sangheili Jihad as revenge for his dead wife. It's actually a really interesting and sad story, Jul is by no means a good guy but understanding his evil was cool IMO

Then Locke happened.
