Robert is 100% right on the perfume. Accentuate what's already there, and it really is a case of less is more. Calibrate your nose when you first get a new scent, figure out how many drops is right, and then DON'T add more later on, just because you can't smell it anymore. I assure you that all of us around you, who aren't noseblind to it, can still smell it. I shouldn't smell your perfume when you walk in the room, I shouldn't smell it sitting across the table from you. It's just right when I can smell it when we hug, and on my shirt after the date.

Make yourself happy…so true. I was just watching Michelle Pfeiffer in The First Lady talking about there being a woman first, before there was a marriage. Too many women spend all their time thinking and talking about (and defining themselves by) their relationships. I love talking about interpersonal relationships in general but guess what? If all you can talk about is your relationship, how interesting are you to your partner? Have fun and do stuff you used to love to do. Leave space in the relationship.

The hygiene thing is surprisingly valid, and I'm glad it got brought up. I've had more than one girlfriend who did indeed "let themselves go" after a surprisingly short period of time. I'm not asking for a formal gown and full makeup to go to get a burger, but at least put together. It's a reflection of the value they place on us seeing each other, and if they don't care enough to get out of PJs and brush their hair and teeth before I show up to take them to breakfast, that's a good sign I need to move on. So I did.

(Obviously being sick and not feeling well, and I'm coming over to bring chicken soup and silly movies, is a whole different story. Back when movies had to be physically moved

On extending vowels, I suspect is a lesson from Marilyn Monroe singing to President Kennedy or Betty Boop voice it is hard to explain but it is attractive in some feminine like women.
