Why we need to ban zero-hours contracts

In Britain, there are 850,000 workers on zero-hours contracts. Workers don't know how many hours they will work each week - they cannot plan for their family life, cannot budget for their weekly shop, and some cannot even pay their weekly bills.

They are also less likely to receive key employment rights i.e. sick pay, holiday pay, redundancy pay.

BS! Zero hour contracts meet a demand in the labor market, i was on zero hour contract and it was perfectly fine. If you don't like them, then don't accept them.
