I thought Josh’s evil turn was genuinely scary, also Chapter 2 is my joint favourite with the first film

I'm shocked by your opinion on Josh. I guess a Horror History lesson is in the works. I think his creepy smile was the scariest part of the movie. I too thought it wasn't smart to have them forget. Especially because Dalton's younger brother went through this trauma too, and they didn't wipe his memory.

Turn of the screw was also the inspiration for "The Haunting of Bly Manor". It was anexcellent tv show

An actor has every right to branch out in roles and I think his "Jackesque" performance is more like an omage to the OG out of respect and love for the craft rather than trying to copy it. PLUS! It's easy to forget that the director has the real say in how they want an actor to perform in scenes.

Leigh is a GD chameleon man, i did not know he was Specs in these movies. I didnt know he was this other character in one of his movies either. He literally blends into any role he plays, its amazing.

I was rewatching this movie and I noticed Jenna Ortega played the little girl at the end. She has come such a long way since then

I watched this film, and I liked it..

Maybe because I am not a regular horror Hollywood watcher so I didn't knew where they took those inspirations from.

But the film was good, the thing about this is, it doesn't have much jumpsacres but the creepiness, when you think everything is okay now but actually its not over yet.

Whenever I watch a James Wan film, I always look in the background of every scene because he always inserts something spooky
