What to do after a deep cleaning, scaling, root planing, and general cleaning is what dentist or a dental hygienist tells you after the procedure but in case you forget hopefully this video will come useful for you.

Deep Cleaning, Scaling, Root Planing, and General Cleaning is what you should get done to keep your teeth nice and healthy. Also getting them done will help you avoid other expensive dental treatments. You got through the hard part of going through the treatment. Now you gotta be careful for a day or two because your teeth still shock from the treatment. you can be faced with sensitive, soreness, bleeding, and discomfort but that is completely normal. your teeth are in a better state than it was before filled with bacteria. Be patient and let your teeth adjust back to a normal state and of course make sure you brush, floss and rinse ( with warm salt water ) to protect your newly cleaned teeth from getting infected with bacteria.

I love the very calm and simple explanation of everything because I do suffer from a little bit of gingivitis coming from depression and not taking care of my oral hygiene. After my feelings were done and I like cleaning there's so much flesh and bleeding I got worried but the weird thing is my dentist said Listerine is totally fine but to try to get a over-the-counter fluoride rinse.

It's only been a day and I definitely agree about the exercise and training because the last thing I want to do is increase blood flow in that area.

I'm saving up for more dental work and cleaning because I believe it's a very necessary investment into ourselves because it's something people see everyday and whitening can be done some other time it's not a priority of course !

That was helpful, Because I'm going in for my first deep clean soon. I just had a regular cleaning this week for the first time. They pick the tartar off that was giving me sensitive teeth on the bottom. I felt better in the dentist office after they was done. It amazed me. Still alittle bit of work but it looking better already.

Got my first deep cleaning today 😭 the worst part was the numbing..which I never had an issue with. I was amazing how many doses I had to get. They only did one side and I’m happy about it because it does make you feel weird having top & bottom numb. Afterwards I’m feeling a little throbbing. I really want some cereal but that’s probably not a good idea 😔

Hey i just did my first appointment of deep cleaning on my upper right side, it went well. I was given numb gel then the anesthesia and it wasnt so bad. Took 45 mins to do, was watching tv at the same time. . Its now 5 hours i havent eatin yet, but now i feel hungry. I am not in pain, but just the soreness is not bad. I was prescribe a mouth rinse incase of discomfort. I have used the warm salt water as well. That side of the teeth omg its so clean. Looking forward to the next side of the teeth 😊

I have to have several fillings and a crown legthing..post and crown...like 9 different visits 😭 But before that I have to get a deep cleaning because they said I have beginning stages of gum disease. I'm so scared. I'm worried the deep cleaning is really going to hurt bad. this made me feel a little better.

I just had a deep clean root and scaling they didn’t give me any aftercare instructions so here I am finding aftercare instructions I still cnt eat on the side that got cleaned so I bought a lot of soup smoothies and yogurt after I took a pain pill I brushed super soft and flossed super careful after rinsing my mouth with salt water I bled for about 5 hours after my cleaning that was the worst pain I ever felt I almost cried a few times 🤦🏾‍♀️😂 during the numbing process

Just got my deep cleaning done and my dentist only recommended me to not eat crunch food or snacks like popcorn, chips, etc. And to brush & floss as well.

I had my left side Deep Cleaning today, honestly I hate this procedure but I needed to have it done. I have a Water Pik, after eating my Dinner this evening. I wanted to Water Pik the food out between my Teeth. The Left side was SO sensitive. So I just used my Glide Pro - Health Floss and I rinse with warm salty water, until the sensitivity goes away. I go back next Month for the other side Yikes😲 I hate this process and going to the Dentist is scary every time I go for an appointment🤦🏾‍♀️
