I took it upon myself to try and learn the history of China, without the western bias from sources from China.
6000 years of history. The influence of Confucius, even to this day, impresses me.
We often forget what part we played in China's Century of Shame.
It was the West that brought on Chinas opium problem due to greed in the 1900's.
Since then, the West has always seemed to have a sense of smug superiority when in fact we are the barbarians in the room in many many ways.

People need to look at what they know about China, and what was the source.
You will find it that its the same people who are lying about Ukraine, and the same people who are lying about Russia.
These are the same people who are telling you what to think of China.
