Fake vs Real Levi's 501 Jeans

A safety element to identify original Levi's 501 jeans is the piece behind the hem inscribed with the brand logo... carefully inspect every detail, it must be perfect without extra paint.... for example in horses and people.... the fake paint is too much out of print.... compared to the original one which is perfect ... everything in line .... another difference to identify fake Levi's 501 jeans are metal buttons on the front ... the original shows the company logo ... compared to the fake ones that do not have this aspect.

Fake jeans at first glance are ok ... but after a few washes the material is bad ... it's not worth saving for another 20 dollars ... Well, the "real" ones are not made in San Francisco anymore. They are made in China by the same company that makes the "fake" ones.

This I knew immediately. My Daddy's dry cleaners did the acid wash on Levi's until the manufacturer closed one town only. Thanks for the memories. We lost my Dad last week. Everything, makes me cry, including this. I miss you daddy.

Мы в 70-75 году, ( мой бог, я уже немолода!.😊) носили другие джинсы, они были много круче🎉.
Знаете, это- договор продавцов, понижать качество, а ты идёшь и покупаешь чаще ... Например, был шерстяной костюм, который можно стирать. Я его носила аккуратно, стирала осторожно, но ему 12 лет, и он прекрасен! Ткань не дает пилинг, а шерстяные нити в нем плотной крутки, и ткань становится только мягче. Удивительно, в нем не жарко в тепле, и он согревает, если прохладно.
Ещё одна семейная вещь: джемпер из шерсти ламы, Индия, и на нем нет катышков. Он и сейчас есть, ему много лет, в нем мои дети ходили, сейчас крестники бегают на лыжах, он хорош.💫
Ещё прекрасное воспоминание. Гриндерсы из кожи яка. Их носила я, носил мой племянник, а теперь уже двое крестников носят, прошло много лет, , и только потерлась подошва..даже шнурки у них родные! (Когда мы Гриндерсы покупали, продавец сказал мне: вы в них будете танцевать на свадьбе внуков) --мне было 29, я так смеялась 🍀). Эти вещи у нас, как история дома и семьи. 🎉 Высокое качество одежды было нормой.. Всем удачи и счастья.❤🌺❤️

Fun fact, the label used on the fake ones was the same label they used on the real ones up until the '80s & '90s...
But the buttons have been the same since inception!!

I remember buying the 501’s on the left at the swap meet in my hometown, and never taught I was buying fake ones. If I knew then what I know now ✌🏽

As someone from the US, I don’t understand why anyone would even go through the trouble of making fake Levis. I mean, they’re just run of the mill, everyday jeans. 🤔

Настоящие джинсы Levis имели медные заклёпки и оранжевую строчку из толстой льняной нити (в природе лён жёлтого цвета) это было эталоном качества бренда. То что у вас это просто штаны.

Great video 👍 I bought a pair had them 10years and lived in them for every purpose day & night. Took them into Looksmart Alterations service for fast 1hr service to have hems done as fraying. Asian owner commented how lucky I was to have vintage Levis but failed to give me receipt ticket. The owner stole them as I shopped in mall !! I spent hours trying to reach him & he swapped my jeans with another pair of men's jeans!!! I was furious with his behaviour as he denied everything !!! Never got my jeans back I was gutted as you can never replace them. I boycotted his shop & no amount of compensation was enough for priceless Vintage Levis😣

The back patch on the fake pair looks identical to an older design that real Levi’s used to have, so I wouldn’t consider that an indication that they are fake. However, that front button is a dead giveaway 😂😂😂

Those are ‘cheap’ fakes. I have seen fake branded stuff even the real shop can’t say they’re fake.

La forma mas fácil de saber si es original o falso, en la parte trasera del botón que muestras, trae un número de serie que también lo tiene una de las etiquetas, con ese te das cuenta si es verdadero o no, porque ese botón que muestas que dice Levis, también pantalones fake lo traen...
