Why Are Some Levi's Tabs Blank?

Hello, love your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm wondering if you can help me with my inside tag. It is missing the black imprinted style numbers and it's my only discomforting thought about this jacket being fake. All other things check out from Levi's butt tag label, tags, stitching etc. Is this jacket fake due to the missing black style number?

Thank you for making this. I just got a pair of 501 shrink to fits with a blank tab a few weeks ago, and then yesterday I was making room in my dresser and found a pair of 507s with the same thing. I bought them both online so yeah I was wondering if they were fake. Now I know and it's pretty cool that I have these 1 in 10 jeans!

Finally someone who knows how long the blank tabs have been used! Kinda wished they didn't. I have a 67-70 Type 3. 70505 tab, no evidence of any care tab being ripped out, no hand warmers, single stich on the bottom button but it has that damn blank tab. If it only had the Big E, I could sell it fast for a nice price. It's too small for me otherwise I would keep it. It has that softer denim feel, I think you mentioned that in one of your other videos.

I have a pair of 511s with a blank tab and a trucker jacket also with a blank tab. Wearing them together creates an interesting combination lol since blank tabs are not too common

I got a question that mine Levi's 646 have capital E from the orange tab and got the single digit "R" for the factory code behind the button, the letter on the zipper is "Scovill ", however the care tag part got a black batwing .
