Thank you for the video. If I may make a isnt a setting but rather software that 'remembers' what programs you often use, keeping them stored in memory for faster start-up times of said called " Preload " and is available from the software manager. It makes quite a big difference in performance.

My computer is not that old. In fact I got it in February last year. It isn't too slow because the gpu is struggling, it's too slow because Linux Mint is struggling to make use of it. Actually, I think it's getting slower by the hour because I could even sign in to give you a response, so I ended up using my Steam Deck instead. It also doesn't help that every time I install any kind of Linux distro on there, I'm always greeted with a list of error messages. In case you're wondering, my computer is an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 laptop, with AMD Ryzen 7 6800 HS with Radeon Graphics and Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Mobile. I am currently using Linux Mint Cinnamon standard edition, though I may ended up installing the wrong version. I already went through numerous hurdles just to be able to install the thing, but sadly as of now, it hasn't pay off. Any advice or do you need more info?
