This video is the Bring Sally up plank challenge! The description of proper form for the movements is described in the beginning of the video, but if you already know what you are doing and just want to follow along skip to 1:25

Description of Movements:
This is a plank challenge were we switch only between two positions.
First position: The typical plank position where you are facing the floor and are holding yourself up with your forearms (from your hands to your elbows) pressed into the floor, and your toes pressed into the ground. Here you squeeze your core (meaning suck in your stomach) and squeeze your butt to stabilize yourself.
Second position: The high or upper plank. Here you are going be balancing on your hands instead of your forearms. This position is exactly the same as if you were about to do a push-up, shoulders, and hands should be in line and your butt should be in line and tucked in so that your entire body is in line. If you are doing it right it should be hard.
The Transition: The goal is to stay up the whole time, so when the song says “bring sally up” you are going to push yourself up by putting one hand flat on the ground and then shifting your weight and pushing up and bringing the other hand flat. When it says “bring Sally down” you are just going to do this in reverse and work your way back down to your forearms and the regular plank.
And that's all you have to do! Just follow along with what the song tells you to do and hold the plank for as long as possible!! GOOD LUCK!

Disclaimer:
I am not perfect and my form is not perfect! This was the first time for me ever doing this challenge and even though I wasn’t able to finish the whole thing, and that my form wasn’t perfect, that is ok! If you can finish it, that is AWESOME and you should be proud of yourself. If you had to pause (as many times as it took) that is also awesome because you tried something out of your comfort zone and did it and that is a big thing! After all the important thing is that you are working to get better every day, no matter where you are on your fitness journey!
