Raise your hand if a delicious, made from scratch, freezer ready soup is on your list of meals to prep before fall and winter get here! It was definitely on mine! There is nothing better than homemade, from scratch soup to warm your body and soul during the Fall and Winter months. Today we were able to knock out 3 varieties of soup, Farmhouse on Boone's Tomato Soup, Spicy Winter Squash Soup, and a Cheesy Poblano Chicken Soup - all 3 were absolutely delicious! Soup recipes used in today's video:

Farm House on Boone's Tomato Soup

2 Tbsp butter
1 onion, diced
4 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp parsley (I used basil as well)
1 Tbsp flour
2 lbs chopped tomatoes
2 C chicken broth
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Caramelize onions in butter. Add garlic, saute 1 min, add herbs, saute 1 min. Add flour, saute 1 min. Add in all other ingredients and simmer for 15 min. Blend smooth with immersion blender.

Spicy Winter Squash Soup
adapted from Butternut Squash Soup

2 Tbsp olive oil
3lb squash
1 lg onion
1 lg bell pepper
1 stalk celery
5 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp thyme
1 Tbsp rosemary
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp cumin
salt and pepper to taste
4 C chicken stock

Caramelize veggies in oil, add all other ingredients, simmer for 15-20 min til veggies are soft. Blend til soup is smooth with immersion blender.

Cheesy Chicken and Poblano Soup

1 Tbsp butter
1/2 C onion
1 poblano pepper
2 C shredded chicken
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 C frozen corn
3 C chicken broth
1/2 C cream
1/2 C shredded cheese

Cook veggies in oil. Add all ingredients except cream and cheese. Simmer for 15 min. Once slightly cooled stir in cheese and cream.

if your family has no problem eating peanut butter, you can use creamy or chunky peanut butter: Peanut Soup North American Indian Serves: 4
From my cookbook: Spirit of the Harvest: North American Indian cooking
Ingredients:
2 cups dry-roasted peanuts finely chopped, or 1 cup chunky-style peanut butter
Ingredients: 2 cups chicken broth
2 cups milk or cream
2 tsp. snipped fresh chives
Salt and ground pepper
Recipe instructions: In a heavy saucepan, combine peanuts, broth and milk, Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring. Simmer for 10 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with chives and season to taste with salt & pepper.

Peanut soup (China) Serves: 4
From the Kitchen of: Foreign Foods cookbook
Ingredients: 1 cup chunky peanut butter
Ingredients: 1 cup water
2 cup milk
Recipe instructions: Heat peanut butter in saucepan. Add water slowly, stirring frequently, until blended. Add milk; heat through. Do not boil.

I absolutely love your video and channel, but for future reference, if companies send you a product to use in your videos or a code for said product, you have to say the words "sponsored" example "hey guys xyz company sponsored me and they sent me this product of there that I am sharing today and they also included a code so if you want to buy it too use the discount code"
