My mom's freezer was 9x9 foil pans in sections of beef, chicken, pork and breakfast. Your video reminds me of when my mom made premade freezer meals in the 80's and 90's. Each foil pan was topped with foil and she wrote on each one with a marker. She would write what it was, the oven temp to cook at and for how long to cook it. She would keep meals on hand in case she was running late from work. Or she needed to take something to the church pot luck or someone in church was sick.

As a (single) college student, freezing meals is a LIFE SAVER !!! Especially meat sauce for spaghetti, and CHICKEN LEG QUARTERS. I buy 8-10 chicken leg quarters for $5-6 and air fry them && freeze. Such an easy protein option.

This what is what my freezer looks like. Even better, it's all made from what I grew in my garden organically, wherever possible.
I meal prepped at harvest time and now just pop whatever i'm in the mood for into the oven and have the most delicious food on hand all the time. Its been a real life changer ciz i hate cooking for one. Now i cook 15 meals at once in batches.
Theres also no waste because I pre-portion them. Walmart also has the small tins 5/$1, which are perfect individual serving sizes and they stack really nicely

As a single person with RA, I cook my meals ahead on the good days and when I have flares, it’s easy to just warm up and go. And NOTHING is wasted. GAME CHANGER!!!

I meal prep for my husband and I. We got a deep freezer on Black Friday and chest freezer and I did this so I didnt have to spend 5-6 hours in the kitchen every Sunday. Its actually so nice. It only took about 1 full day of cooking to fill the freezer up. This is awesome organization.

I love big freezers. Freezing all my herbs, hard cheeses, anything that goes bad within a couple days to a week really. Absolute game changer.
