Love in general is really just something we'll personally have to learn overtime as even if we learn it from other's experiences, we won't actual know until it happens to us.
I feel experience in person is better than just hearing it from others, but it could work both ways.
I think of it as hearing from people who've experienced something before and we'll know what the answer to the problem in the end.

I've had feelings for someone for 2 years now and I didn't at first, things were slow at first, we didn't talk much, I remember noticing flaws they had at first, and I thought they were physically attractive but I cared more about what we talked about and how we were around each other and stuff. I realized I started to crush on them and got the classic crush feelings, the butterflies, feeling great around them while also feeling incredibly nervous, and so on, and it was like that for a while but it's been a quite some time since then, we talk more, we get along really well, and there was a point when I couldn't see a thing wrong with them, they were perfect to me, but I'm seeing flaws again, nothing crazy, everyone has them, but my feelings are the same, idc about their flaws, I want to give them the world and I seriously care about them so much I care about her well being, about helping her about doing nice things for her and I think about her so much I dream about her and like, I've never felt so strongly about a person that I wasn't yet in a relationship with, idk if I've ever felt so much for someone, I think I'm actually in love and it's scary.

i met a girl a few years ago and sort of recently realised i have some pretty big feelings for her and it's been freaking me out because it's completely different to any crushes i've had. usually if i like someone and i confess and they reject me, my confession actually helps me move on so i get over it fairly quick. but with this girl, even after confessing, my feelings for her haven't disappeared or changed, in fact they feel stronger. and what doesn't help is that she hasn't given me closure over her feelings for me, all she's told me is she wants to stick as friends (which i respect so i never push, but it's still difficult to deal with y'know). i've been rlly worried about my feelings for her because i've never had these feelings for anyone, and i think this vid basically told me that it's more than just a crush at this point. idk if i could call it love, i mean if it is i'm pretty sure it's one-sided, but this vid did help me a bit lol

There was a girl in my class about a year or two ago and we got on so incredibly well! (One of my astrology friends chalked it up to me being an Aries and her being a Sag haha.) Every lesson we’d be sat next to each other laughing about the dumbest stuff. She got held behind that year and we kind of lost contact because she’s not on her phone often and I’m not a fan of talking over text. Everytime I’d see her in the halls, though, we’d stop to make small talk and my heart stuttered every single time. She’s coming over tomorrow for a late birthday celebration and I’m honestly so nervous. I feel like we have insanely good chemistry, and she’s also joked before about wanting to marry me and me being the only person she really talks to online. At this point I’m not sure if this is still just a crush or if I’ve really fallen in love. Most crushes I’ve had were over quickly but it’s been two years now and every single time we talk either irl or online I still get flustered😅
