People would be surprised to learn that many of the most recognizable foods in America are banned in other countries. In most cases, it's because of the 10,000 plus chemicals that are approved by the FDA in our food supply that are banned here.

No surprises. I read African Holistic Health in the 90’s. Still cannot get over commercial peanut butter. Traveled to 8 countries in Europe and the taste of the first thing I ate was mind blowing. I am leaving soon for a month in Paris and I am so looking forward to the marchés with the fresh fruits and vegetables. Real, unadulterated food. A character on one of my favorite shows based in Paris said it best said this about the American food industry “ you create the problems with your food then you create drugs to fix the problems you created”. This is so well said. They know our food is unhealthy and is killing us. But our health and longevity was never the goal. Corporations getting rich was always paramount.

It's true that what my grandmother ate a 100 years ago is way different from what available now. She grew majority of her food, had an extremely low meat intake diet, water (nothing in it) was her drink of choice, and more than half her day was spent in motion.

Would you consider doing a video on acceptable (healthy) alternatives to these foods?

Great info Doc! I lived in Korea for six years. After returning to the USA, I gained 30 pounds within two years. Never was a person who ate excessive amounts, always very lean and athletic. Something is wrong with our “food”.

Brilliant. I grew up blue-collar. And in a predominantly African-American community. I started eating vegetarian and turned away from everything that made my parents sick and put everyone else into a diabetic state or early grave at age 19. Now it almost 60. I’m always comfortably 10 years younger, looking and very fit compared to my peers.

Thanks for this info. I have tried to explain to family members how toxic some of the food is here in the U.S.A. but they don't believe me. It's great to give them the ability to hear this info from another source. Thanks and God bless. 🌱

The FDA is not only understaffed, they are controlled by big pharma and big agriculture through financial incentives.
Thanks for making this video!

A BIG "THANK YOU" from a 67-year old retired nurse who DID suffer severely from eating those very foods for many years and came close to dying several times from Congestive Heart Failure/Renal Failure/Liver Failure, thyroid dysfunction and inflammatory arthritis, etc.

Then, when I FINALLY discovered and realized that the contaminated food was the cause of my "diseases/illnesses, " I started consuming organic food (CAREFULLY reading labels), eliminated ALL processed sugars and food from my diet, and, not ONLY did I heal my body from all of this "illness, " but also LOST 130 lbs. as well. In addition, I tapered OFF and stopped ALL of the pharmaceutical drugs my doctors had me taking which only contributed further to my phenomenal improvement of health.

Most importantly, I am a living testimonial to the accuracy and efficacy of the information that you shared in this video, my friend. Thank you again for taking the time to inform and educate so many. You are helping to save lives and end a great deal of human suffering. 😎👍

Has anybody noticed that bread doesn’t mold anymore even after the expiration date? Those of us who are fifty-plus know what I’m talking about. Thanks Dr. Bobby for enlightening us.

If possible would you consider doing a video on acceptable (healthy) alternatives to these foods in the U.S? I think this would be great to talk about as well to gear us towards healthier eating etc

Funny story: the grocery store nearest to me (owned by Kroger) had just about eliminated ALL fresh meat from its store and had many coolers full of cured meat-like products. Then, a health oriented store announced plans for a location nearby, less than 1/2 mile down the road. The other store then decided it was time to remodel (again, hadn't been long) and included a traditional meat department. Stores and wholesalers ALL want products that can sit on a shelf forever and anything perishable is despised. Much of the toxicity is a result of efforts to eliminate perishablity. If normal bacteria in the environment can't digest that food you bought, why should you think YOU can?

I’ve read up on everything mentioned for years. The part that I appreciate was to hear a Doctor with experience at the FDA openly talking about these concerns. Thank you for sharing. Most shocking to me was the banning of essentially all US meats. This is the first video of yours I’ve watched.
What is left to eat as far as meat? Source local farmers?

When people begin to understand that the FDA is captured by the industries they claim to regulate, it becomes clear whose interests they serve. More funding is the problem rather than the solution. It's a lesson that should be included in medical schools if they weren't captured as well.

My sister and I have been talking for years about how our generation was the Guinea pigs of processed foods. Our mother never used them, made everything from scratch, and didn’t buy sodas or candy (to prevent cavities). But there were still things on this list, white sandwich bread is one that comes to mind. And we used to get a single Hostess cupcake or half a fruit pie in our lunch for dessert. We had a piece of fresh fruit too. I miss my mom.

As a nurse this is good information to get out there!!! Can you please share with your audience where they may be able to get “healthy” food? Thank you DR.

This is horrifying! I think I was most shocked by the milk. As an older woman, I decided to try drinking milk as an alternative to taking calcium supplements for osteoporosis, but now that's out too. In fact, there isn't much left to eat that's not on your list, or considered bad in some other way. I'd be interested in knowing what you typically eat in a day's time.
