The Truck Market Finally COLLAPSED. And Buyers are DONE Overpaying!

I traveled to several dealerships to show you guys what current inventory and easily identifiable discounts look like. Not only are interest rates super high right now but MSRPs have gotten out of control. Thankfully many of the dealers are finally coming back down to Earth on their pricing below MSRP.

Thoughts?

They raised the MSRP by 40% to 60% and now offer you a 5% to10% discount and call that a good deal. Only an idiot will fall for this bullshit.

If the demand goes down, then the prices will go down.

Dealers are obsolete. We need to purchase direct from manufacturer and online.

Full size trucks have gotten way out of reach

I thank my lucky stars I bought my truck years before Covid.

completely full car lots and dealers still aren't willing to budge... well as the summer drags on that should change hopefully. hold out if you can wait, don't pay over MSRP!

At this point, I'm going to hit the Personal Vehicle Used Car market of individual sellers to get my next vehicle. It is not just disgusting, but vomit-inducing obscene how the Government has irresponsibly let inflation in America absolutely run wild. (Love your content though, AA.)

Not here in NJ. Just came from a Toyota dealer. There are still $5k mark ups and high interest. All top packages.

The Maverick was suppose to start at 19, 999. So 25k for one is still overpriced

In 2003 26K (0.00%) and some change + tax got me into a Tundra Access Cab, 4.7 V8, 2WD w/ tow package. As trucks got bigger over the years it almost seemed Tacoma sized with a V8. Parted with it this year.

No thanks! None of these trucks move the needle for me. I will keep my 20 plus year old vehicles. I can still work on them and they won’t leave me on the side of the road.

When they start taking $18-20k off the MSRP of full size trucks then I might be a player.

Demand will go down when people stop giving a crap about what others think of them.

I got into a car wreck and this lady ran a red light and hit me, which totaled my car. I can't afford to pay $700 a month because these car dealerships are over pricing their vehicles.

Ive noticed alot of used car dealers have swapped out some trucks for smaller vehicles. Been looking at trucks to buy in a month or so and the prices have been dropping nicely.

Do trucks even come with wheel wells anymore? Is it even an option you can add? Why did they stop putting them on trucks?
