13k off a car that's overpriced by 30k seems meaningless. I hope these dealerships are allowed to fail for this, but we know the government is going to steal everyone's money and bail them out.

Customer are not done overpaying, they can't pay at all.

In my old school mind those are $36k trucks...

I make $100K a year and if I can’t walk out the door with the truck for less than 45K I’m not even going to consider buying it .

$1400 a month. Hmmm should I buy a car that’s going to be worthless in 5 years or a house? You can’t live in a car. With the car market about to crash, the dealerships have no one to blame but themselves. It’s no wonder they occupy the scum of the earth level with politicians, lawyers, and insurance companies.

No issue for me. I have three late 90s GM OBS trucks and a Surburban. They run great and easy to work on.

I'm glad that discounts are now becoming the norm instead of market adjustments, but $ 60k - $80k is still too d*** much for a ½ ton truck.

What makes this more annoying is that you don't get any additional quality for all that extra money. What you do get is endless recalls, poor reliability, and even total engine failures.

I get that new tech brings new problems, but things like brakes, fuel injectors, windshield wipers, and roofs are not new tech, yet these are still recall items in the new and grossly overpriced trucks.

Maybe I've just got the mind of the old days, but I can't imagine paying more than 10k for a vehicle, period, let alone trying to justify the cost.

Lol, 72K for a 2023 ZR2 is still ridiculous. This truck should be 50K
These trucks are all still overpriced by over 35% on

Just so you know- those Ann Arbor deals are not what they’re giving you. If you noticed their XLT’s are priced higher than everyone’s-that’s because FORD is giving $3900 off on that trim from factory on the sticker. Their site is listing that as something they’re doing.

Also, almost all Michigan sites will give you the “XYZ” plan pricing. If you look at the disclaimer it says you have to qualify for it. Only prior ford employees (which Michigan does have a lot of) qualify.

Some dealers are doing good deals, the LAURA family of dealers always has good discounts for the average person, and my local Michigan dealer gave about $10k off my f150. They aren’t all doing it though and you have to click on the disclaimers.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the Silverado ZR2 comes with a 6.2L or a 3L Duramax diesel engine. It doesn't have a 3.8L V6 or a 2.8L diesel engine. I'd appreciate it if you could verify this info before making a video to make sure it's accurate. Come on, man, you're supposed to be a car guy!

Bought my 4x4 taco in 2020 peak of the pandemic for 30k. I live in CA and drove it all the way from the east coast. Got back to CA and was offered 40k at my local dealer. Declined still have and will not buy another certainly not paying 65k. Give it time people, bubble will burst

And you actually believe these companies are knocking $12, 000 off of a truck? Haha no way.. all they do is jack the prices up then cut the price as if you are getting a deal... And... then suckers jump on them thinking they got a sweet deal. What a scam.

If they would stop making these trucks higher than 50k they would sell like hotcakes

Having fewer pickup trucks on the road is a great thing! So wasteful and obnoxious and few of them are actually used for work. Most are garage queens that have empty cargo beds 99% of the time. And the more gas they use, the higher they make gas prices go. It's just supply and demand.

When you can get a new base model 4×4 pickup for high 20's or low 30's and a top trim with options for say mid 50's tops prices will be in line to where they need to be. 10% off a truck that's price got inflated 40-60% over the last 3-4 years is nothing. It's still overpriced. I can see an inflation of 500-1000 per year. A 2021 silverado custom in 2021 was about 39k. In 2024 it's around 52k.

Just got 20k off a 2023 F150. I'm pretty happy with that. Maybe it's still a bit too expensive from where it should be. But I'm happy.
